>Every Planescape Torment thread is just a worthless WRPG v JRPG shitposting fest
Can we have an actual PS:T thread instead? Or at least a thread about games with writing/characters we adore?

I'll suggest Alpha Protocol for being another game with fantastic writing and kind'a average gameplay. It was mostly panned on release and is largely forgotten, but everytime I play it, I remember how fucking great it is.
Honestly, /vr/ is a better place to discuss PS:T and the Baldur's Gate saga.
JRPGs are much better than this shite
Alpha Protocol is fucking great
>get all data before any mission
>spike russkie's heroin
>leave him alive to usurp the bratva
>braindead russian ally in charge of russia
No fucking way in hell Taro didn't play in Torment before doing first Nier

I have this so much. Especially since my favorite games are pretty much half and half from Japan and The States.
I doubt it, since he seems to suck at english and the game wasn't translated into japanese.
My man. Exactly the same. Just played Kingmaker and before that I was loving XBC. And yet everyone's acting like you can't like both styles...
I'll have to admit that i abandoned my play trough pretty early. Maybe someday.
Figuring out who the final boss was before the reveal was a great moment.
Why do you think so?
I don't think there's any shame in turning down the difficulty. The combat is pretty weak, even as an Infinity Engine fan.You can save yourself a lot of tedium since most of the fights aren't very interesting.
I dare bet most people here didn't actually play this game through, which is a shame because I have very fond memories of it.
Such great characters and setting, that moment where you confront the hag in her maze that she willingly stays in for your sake is just so good. Discovering events from past lives, or how other characters have been linked to you in your past "lives" was really interesting.
Nobody on Yea Forums has actually played it
Sorry but RPGs should have character creation and replayability.
There is one dedicated shitposter that's obsessed with this shit, I bet if he died the whole board would be much better.
I started it a few years ago but I wasn't in the right mindset to enjoy it then. Didn't get very far
I think lots of anons from outside the States could have played it. In my country consoles weren't really a thing so people used to play on pc. Because of that almost everyone I knew as a kid played the game.
Is he the guy that posts that darka souls and silent hill charts comparing them to Planescape?
ENDURE
Never saw those but if they look like this boards.fireden.net
Did you guys kissed Ravel?
IN
is there any character in vidya history who suffers more than this guy?
Doesn't Aleph get pretty hard fucked for eternity for defying YHVH in SMT2?
No she's a witch.
yeah. forced to be reborn again and again without having any control over the destiny of the doomed worlds he is born in even if he remembers his past lives and tries to act, which he is shown to do at least once.
Is this the guy in stealth threads posting Thief maps vs MGS maps images when the maps in the pic are Doom and Final Fantasy XIII?
VHAILOR...
>Or at least a thread about games with writing/characters we adore?
Team Fortress 2
>cut content where modrons in the cube would kidnap a party member in a rescue-the-princess scenario
>Fall-From-Grace was the only one that loved the idea and enjoyed playing the role
FUCK why did so much Grace content get cut
being a grace-one is suffering
Can we talk about what the fuck TNOs crime was?
Its hinted he did something irredeemable that affected all the planes negatively
We can rule out the Blood wars and the whole Gith civil war, so what was it?
thats the point
noone will ever know
everything the practical incarnation ever pulled, all the shit he ever did, and the immortality itself is nothing compared to the original crime
i never even want to know, its better this way
ENDURING
>i never even want to know, its better this way
This. Having the mystique is so much better.
i played it but i was a kid and too dumb to comprehend most of it so i basically don't remember shit from it except the looks of some of the areas and enemies
>Dak'kon so good a character he redefined the entire Githzerai race for all future d&d installments
God damn that is pretty nuts.
