That's when I knew shmups are garbage
>shmups
Agreed. Besides a few standouts it's a fucking awful genre
Gacha is giving fags their fair share of luck
Shitty hitboxes.

if luck has no place in it it can't be an RPG.
Always hated those claw games, no way to win unless the machines wants to
>you can die due to luck
either write "due to lack of luck" or "bad luck", or otherwise, according to how language works, this formulation means that dying is desirable.
Luck shouldn't be a stat.
for rpgs yeah not modern games or modern rpgs though, zoomers can't handle it
Are you selling progress for MTX money?
No.
Are you NOT selling progress for MTX money?
Yes.
Luck adds value to most games
How do you exist?
>dying is desirable
for shmups players i wouldn't exactly rule it out
Are they giants?
Battle Royales would be boring if everything spawned in the same place every time
Of course it does, it wouldn't be an RPG without it.
...but that is in the context of an RPG game. In nearly any other scenario, I despise it. Take fortnite for example, your aim is irrelevant because of bloom, or take G&W's side B in smash bros, it is completely luck based. Do away with things like these and things become balanced and fair.
