You can go back in time and fix ONE game mid-production.
Which one?

Secret of Mana. Unfortunately that'd mean having to fix the damn SNESCD debacle.
Bioshock Infinite
I would go back in time and tell the Konami fuckheads to not release an Xbox 360 and PS3 version of MGSV
That alone would have immensely improved the quality and amount of content and allowed them to finish the story
>tfw no Groznyj Grad styled level thats absolutely packed with soldiers and wearing concrete camo serves a purpose
Also a good choice
Might&Magic 9.
...Versus XIII (im so sorry)
Don't apologize for having standards
I think this, more than any other vidya, satisfies my lust for late 90s/early 00s cheese.
Shame the development was so fucked.
What does the ideal The Thing game play like though? Would it basically be REmake 2 with Things?
To make it coop for pc.
DoW III, put the DoW2 cover system back in
Make Gabe the normal size
Add more multiplayer modes
Make the unit customisation fully accessible from the start with profiles for the chapters and similar subfactions
Add the Last Stand
Have a non base building mode for the multiplayer
Maybe have an add on where you can start a game with a set amount of requisition to use to choose you army composition at the start of the match
Center the campaign around the Necrons because lolchaos is boring
Have a bonus campaign where you play the Imperial Knight, largely remove it from the main campaign altogether
Dragon's Dogma. It was supposed to be much more than it ended up being in the end.
Actually implement the squad trust system instead of scripted assimilation and replacing squad members every level.
Oblivion
Spore
I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna save Yea Forums.
Dead Space 3
IT COULD BE A GOOD GAME GODDAMMIT
to be honest i feel like a proper The Thing game would have to be either multiplayer, or have much better AI than currently exists
Any multiplayer would just degrade into everyone shooting everyone in the match with no pretense of actually trying to investigate who is the thing.
Works for SS13 Mods. You simplify the mechanics and victory conditions to much to the point you think you could just should your way out.
The problem with TTT, which is the closest thing I can imagine to a The Thing game, was there was nothing for innocents to do besides get shot and guess who the killers were, and every server banned you from killing a player unless you were 110% sure they were a killer, which ruined a lot of the fun. That sort of extreme metagaming, where killing everyone is the best way to ensure you win, would be less of a problem if the innocents had some sort of actual objective besides hunting The Thing.
Star wars the old republic
>Would have to be either multiplayer
Stopped right there
Kill yourself
Spore.
I am convinced that the games industry would not be in its current state had Spore been made the way Will Wright intended it. A game like the actual Spore would have saved the games industry. The only other game like the "true" spore is the XCOM remake in 2012
Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. I fix it. I fix the everliving fuck out of it.
This user's favourite game:
And I would ruin it like he wants to ruin my beloved FFXV.
I'd go back and stop Kane and Lynch existing for more Freedom Fighters games.
i would fire the guy who thought it was a great idea to make it baby's first RTS
I'm really torn between Bloodlines and FF15.
>I could say Bloodlines, and watch Troika put out a few more amazing games only to be cannibalized by EA in the end anyway.
>I could say FF15 and realize the culimination of my ultimately comfy and kino modern FF from a company relatively free from the clutches of rainbow haired diversity faggots and corporate greed.
3.5 looked dope. Also 5 to a lesser extent. Remember when it was about overwhelming numbers and staying safe from the scolding sun?
FFXV has serious problems though.
Wind Waker
I would cancel FFVII
>Using a magic wish to breach space and time
>Look guys I fixed a mediocre WW2ish FPS
Reddit is that way ---->
Yeah but like I would trust some Versus XIII shitposter to fix them.
>Let's make all the infected survivors RNG so it doesn't actually fucking matter if you drag their ass across the level or not
Good fucking job
I still remember.
>Tests humans to see if they're aliens in disguise
>They pass the test
>They take a few steps forward
>They reveal themselves as aliens!
Doesn't Barotrauma have this dynamic?
Higurashi
write Satoko out of the story. +100 enjoyment
