The first game is bad. Ironically the 3D games are great. When so many franchises tried transitioning from 2D to 3D they sometimes really fucked up but this of all franchises succeeded.

Yeah it is. I love the Gex 2 and 3 a lot even if they are B+/-A platformers, but damn Gex 1 is bad. Legitimately bad. This is the first franchise I've played where 3D is the only viable way to make the games.

Fuck off retard. Gex 1 is a fantastic 2D platformer with great level design, enemy variety, smooth precise controls and some great looking visuals. It is in absolutely no way deserving of the label of a bad game.
