Beatrix complains about Brahne utilizing the black mages instead of her troops at Cleyra.

She was. It was a very effective strategy and helped her capture a lot of villages. Jeanne fucking loved those cannons.

The fact that Beatrix doesn't get severely punished for committing like 500 war crimes is the most annoying thing about her tbqh.

At Cleyra Beatrix shows up after the Black Mages start killing people and mentions "they fell for it". Beatrix's soldiers engage the playable character group but will run away if not killed on the first hit. Later it's revealed that Beatrix's plan was to distract everyone with an attack while she claims the jewel they were after. Only black mages are shown killing anyone. Beatrix complains about having the black mages involved when she believes her own troops would suffice.

Beatrix is indeed just a shit character. Unlikable and deserving of death and she didn't die because you'd be surprised how DIFFICULT it is to convince men that a woman deserves death.

When it comes to women, especially the fictional ones, men love to white knight faggot for them. I mean in real life? We see men who refuse to punish actual female child molesters, so they resist even further punishing fictional female characters. While I'd agree with you on that point, nearly every event where Beatrix is supposedly proven to be some genocidal cunt actually doesn't show her killing anyone. She fights Zidane's group 3 times and never kills any of them. She's never shown to fight anyone at Burmecia or Cleyra and in fact grabs the jewel at Cleyra and runs away from a fight until Zidane and crew claim they're gonna fuck her up.
To be honest, those claiming Beatrix has killed so many people are starting to sound absolutely delusional when all these facts are thrown in their face and yet they claim that SHE HAS TO HAVE KILLED THEM OFFSCREEN instead of taking into consideration what actually IS shown onscreen.
