Splinter Cell, although PT wasn't bad, just nowhere near the glory of CT.
Mgs
Xenoblade (cause xcx was kinda lame)
Jayden Adams
>>second game strays too far and very experimental
It was the opposite. SMB2J (Lost levels) was a cheap cash in that going by the fact Nintendo barely reference the thing was probably hated in japan.

Can’t think of any more

MGS2 has more in common with MGS1 than MGS3.
Julian Lewis
OP meant the other SMB2.

Melee before Ultimate arrived people sucked's cock for so long and they all went back to shit on that and the sequels after that (counting 3DS and WiiU as 4 and 5, entry-wise)
Elijah Ward
Yeah I forgot lost levels was a thing. I was thinking DokiDoki2.

so you're saying >64 is good >Melee is too experimental >Brawl is GOAT
Connor Thompson
Is there any way to play this besides snes emulator or mario all stars?
Carter Richardson
seeing how brawl receptionally did well for the core casual shit smash was built on yes Melee was treated like a dark horse of the series

Halo 3 except they completely disregarded what made 3 great

Brawl also had a terrible adoption rate compared to the other games. It clearly wasn't wildly successful with the casual crowd, or else more than like 10% of the console's owners would've bought it. Most the other smash titles have a 30%+ adoption rate, with Smash 3DS (an obviously inferior way to play smash) being the only one lower.
So nah, Brawl sucked all crowds. Doesn't follow this pattern.
Camden Barnes
where are you even pulling these numbers on?
Chase Ortiz
Castlevania Fire Emblem (Maybe? Talking about just 1-3)
