VAT is stupid too since Aqua's story only makes any sense if it's dead last since you lose context. VTA can kind of work though but it's still janky.

$40 for 6 games and 3 movies, so pretty good value I think.

Also a lot of the word darkness and a director who uses a lot of specific imagery and a lot of callbacks to previous games in which you recognizing said callback may be crucial to understanding something new.

People who actually want to have the game make any real sense. Terra's ending is hype but should be first since it's the least important.

How does it not make sense? Can you only understand a story told through a linear progression?

Because the game assumes you've played it in a certain order and doesn't give you context for certain things characters do since you're already supposed to have played as them.

The first three games are good (even CoM). 2 is where things start to go off the rails with the story, but it still has some kind of resolution. From BBS on, the story is irredeemable nonsense.

KH1 with upgraded combat would be perfect honestly, its before all the contrived bullshit starts and is just a fun cheesy game

I just got it too, and I’m playing through 2 on critical mode for the first time. I thought you guys said this was fun? The game doesn’t seem harder, just more bullshit. Even standard enemies can take over half your health in one shot. I assume it’ll get more balanced as I level up and build defense items, but jesus I’m not even having fun.

So you have the PS3 versions? The PS4 versions are 60fps with almost instant load times. Personally, I ended up rebuying the collection on PS4 and found it a lot better than the PS3 versions.

Days and Re:Coded aren't playable in that compilations but I would give them a go anyway, especially Coded.

If you've never played KH2 and don't know anything about the new characters, play that before 358/2 Days. If you played it a while ago and/or already know all about Roxas and the Organization, then you can just do it in the order they list it.
