SRB2 kart is a Mario kart like mod on the doom engine, using Sonic characters and themes. There are plenty of custom characters and tracks loaded on the server, so you don't have to like sonic to enjoy it. Enter the race, and change your character, through the start menu when in the server.
SRB2 is the goat sonic game no joke so I might try this if I ever like video games again

It's worth a try for sure. This is probably the most fun I've had with a game in a good while, and playing with Yea Forums only adds to the fun for me.

I'll try in a moment. I'm eating ice cream. I've cream before video games.

the server timed out

Hey, maybe you could add Flying Battery and Baby Park from MKDD to the game? I saw theses kind of .pk3 files on the message board.
>The server's full of addons for now, but I'll keep it in mind for if I ever learn how to pack things together. I created a combined PK3 that contains all the skins from several of the files you have loaded. I could give it to you, but I'm not sure where you can freely upload things these days that aren't total shit.
Contains skins from the following files: KC_animechars_v1.1.pk3 KC_vidMoreAnime.pk3 KC_vidNintendoPack.pk3 KC_MotherPackv2.pk3 KC_vidMegaManPack.pk3 KC_vidRetroPack.pk3 KC_vidJokeCharacters.pk3

Thank you. I'll check it out when I have some downtime.
One thing to keep in mind about the addon limit, it's based on 2 things:
- Number of files loaded - Length of all the filenames combined
The game sends a packet containing the filenames of all loaded addons when a player joins the server. There was a bug a while back where you could load files with long names and make it so they all couldn't fit in that packet. So that's why there's a limit based on filename length.

Sweet, I've been waiting for this all week! ...Still can't manage a turn for the life of me though
SRB2 and Kart have their own modified version of DoomBuilder called ZoneBuilder. It's mainly been modified to handle some of SRB2's features better.

Sweet, I used to make Doom maps so this shouldn't be too hard to get into. I'll give it a go and see if I can make something fun for next time (If OP's cool with it of course)
How hard would it be for someone with only basic knowledge of hammer to make maps for this?
Adrian Cooper
Hey OP, I saw you said you had 1 character slot left and nothing to put in it. I could sprite you a new character if you want. Like a Yea Forums racer or something, or anything you want really
Yeah, looks about the same. My first one probably won't have too many crazy effects, but I'll try to make it look nice and play fun
Eli Allen
I'm not familiar with Hammer, so I'm not sure. You mainly edit levels from a top-down perspective like that screenshot shows, though once you draw your sectors you can go into 3D mode to modify textures and heights.

Is this Loss?

So, that's it for me. Apart the annoying input latency, I want to say I feel pretty glad to have discovered this game through theses threads.
And with that clutch as fuck win, I'll be taking my leave for tonight as well. Time to hit the hay, see you all next week and thanks for the fun times!
