I recently bout Furi on the PS4 store for about eight dollars. About to Fight The Star. Kinda Jank, but there's definitely a high level of thought and execution and artistic direction in what is a relatively simple arena boss fight game. I might actually just do a second loop or stick in practice since I now grasp using the charge melee attack, so I want to see if that improves my clear times.

...Why was everyone mad at The Edge? I understand losing the gun forces you to go melee but if your parry is worth a shit you can handle him easily.

The Burst and that final form is bullshit and even the game recognizes that and gives you that way easier final hand to hand scene.

Jojo's a lot of fun. The adaptations are pretty good but make sure you also read the manga since the later parts are also golden. Steel Ball Run is fantastic and I'm also pretty fond of Stone Ocean as well, and Jojolion is interesting so far.

Yeah, I'm almost done with Act 2 at 47 hours in and it's a fucking blast. The graphics are amazing and the story is alright for a DQ game. My only problem with it is the repetitive music, it feels like there are 15 tracks for a 70 hour game. Still, the game is amazing

Toriyama did art for both that's why the look the same but they're completely separate devs. I've never actually played Blue Dragon but from what I've seen it looks somewhat similar to DQ, lots of story, semi open world, get into battles if you run into enemies, combat is taking turns casting attacks/abilities/spells/etc.

Hollow Knight is excellent. The platforming is pretty basic but it slowly gets more complex with new abilities. The last level is pretty reminiscent of Super Meat Boy saw blades and all.

I've been more into Nintendo than the other consoles/PC my whole life, even though I own all 3 of this gen's consoles, so most of my favorites are Nintendo. My favorite of all time is Fire Emblem Awakening, it's probably the non-Pokemon game I've replayed the most in my life, and I really got into it in one of the worst periods of time in my life so it helped with that a lot. My number 2 is Pokemon Heartgold, it was the first game I ever bought at launch, the first one I was truly hyped for before it came out, and it is the best Pokemon game (Pokemon is my favorite series) in terms of content and just in general.

I go back and try old games quite often, but not many stick with me as much as more recent titles do. I tend to be pretty content with newer titles haha.

First run through or rewatch? They're fucking fantastic. People call them overrated but honestly it's my favorite channel on YouTube. Everyone else comes off a bit try hard or just regurgitates what everyone else is saying.

I mean, I think anyone with a brain watching that entire thing could figure out how much they were going out of their way to avoid another OscarsSoWhite hashtag.

Green Book was solid, a bit predictable but Ali and Mortensen were very good in it. Viggo especially was fucking great. Blackkklansman was probably the more deserving title, that film is an absolute powerhouse and should have won more.
Capeshit being at the awards for anything but special effects was laughable, so fucking ashamed to call myself a movie buff after that shit. I haven't seen Bohemian Rhapsody but it looks cringe as fuck and VH1 movie tier from all the clips I've seen. The fact that we never got a true rated R version with Sacha Baron Cohen playing Freddie is a fucking travesty.

The revenge just sort of happened. I actually (which is pathetic) tried to go back to her after she basically led me on until she got a bf and did all the things I promised to do with her with him on my birthday. So We avoided each other for 6 months, then I crawled back to talk to her, till I annoyed the shit out of her to the point she quit using social media stuff. Would have loved this personally. I can't not see Rami Malek playing Rami Malek As Freddie Mercury. His accent was terrible.
