Speaking of Trigger... I bought Steam version, two days ago, along with Final Fantasy V
I have no idea if it's fixed, lol. I know that Steam version of CT had some problems.

Switch version will have orchestral OST (something that PS4 lacks and PC has with that patch I linked), new story scenes, ENG and JAP voices and you can change to ''SNES'' graphics.

One other thing, OP. Use the ''super strong enemies'' dragovian challenge because the game is too easy without it.
And don't worry, if you can't handle it, you can remove it at certain locations.

the graphics don't even look that bad or downgraded, i mean yes it obviously not PS4/PC tier but it's not like DQ was ever a graphic intensive series, and the simple cartoony artstyle naturally lends itself to being downgraded

Yes it's real, and there most likely will be a DLC for PS4 and PC.
The devs basically said "we're undecided for now if we'll make DLC with the new content for PS4 and PC" which in corporate speak means that Switch has timed exclusivity and it will come to PS4 and PC later.
