Does BotW have the most TECHNOLOGY of any game in recent times? I feel like it beats MGSV in that regard.

Am I missing something? Where's the technology here?
take note that "TECHNOLOGY" is written by OP in all caps.
Ice melts faster under the sun. If you equip an ice weapon it lasts more, if you equip a fire weapon it melts faster, op is stupid and forgot to add that.
The ice cube doesn't melt if you are in the shadow
Carrying an Ice block in the shade while in a desert will make it melt slower
The ice doesn't melt or very slowly melts in the shade and rapidly melts in the sun. It's a sidequest.
I wouldn't say it has more TECHNOLOGY than MGS like this nerd claims but it does have a lot of complex systems in it that make for better freedom of gameplay.
>faggot zoomers think BOTW OR MGSV had even remotely good technology
What's with all the BOTW threads all of a sudden?
please tell me what are some other great examples of technology
MGSV doesn't have as good TECHNOLOGY. The rest of the series does.
gta4
thats cool but how is it something new? Sounds more like a bunch of if for me.
MGSV didn't have any technology
matthewmatosis did a video on it and said nothing that hasn't already been said about in the past 2 years, but people are treating as some new revolutionary take on the game
this stuff unironically made BoTW feel different and fun, that's why it triggers basedny fags so much they know it was undeniably more innovative than any game on their system.
thats not how ice even fucking works
ice melts based on temperature not whether or not its under direct sunlight
now, granted, a desert has very little to none moisture in the air so heat isnt retained well, meaning thta under the shade during the day it can be 10-20 degree cooler, but thats still not going to significantly affect the melting rate of the ice. its not like its below 0 in the shade.
name three games that do all of those things
hell, even just one game
His insistence that climbing was somehow bad was painfully stupid too. If anything I don't ever want to play an open world without climbing.
His complain about making a place name was also dumb
>that's not how real world physics work!
and? when did anyone say it was? you're totally missing the point I know you're really just a sony fag trying to cope
Pretend it's outer space.
>nintentoddlers
Stop that, be an idort or stop playing video games.
he didn't even complain though, he talked about various options, the pros and cons of them, why he thinks nintendo went the way they did, and why he thinks sometimes they should have gone a different way.
it was a good analysis and it's a shame people here have to turn it into
>he liked it!
or
>he hated it!
BotW is a nice tech demo, but nothing more. No real dungeons to explore, no real items to find except weapons that break after 20 hits, no real sense of progression because all dungeons and shrines are somewhat the same. The next Zelda hopefully fills these holes
I'm gonna fill your holes
With my erect penis
MUH PHYSICS
anything more?
>this game does a thing that other games that do other things!
>its better!
desu horizon zero dawn would've gotten so much more praise if it wasn't for botw taking a big shit on it with all the mechanics and attention to detail.
because he had a nice balance of critique and pat on the back for what the game was. It wasn't a full on "this shit is 10/10" nor was it "this is the worst game ever". It was just a nice video comprised of many valid arguments you keep hearing everywhere. MM has good narration to his videos.
Same BOTW low key ruined Nier Automa for me as I’m REEEE-ing at 2B
“Come on! Climb that fucking wall you robotic bitch!”
And Skyrim
“Fuck yeah a mountain! See you on the other side. (Starts falling fast) .Where the fuck is my paraglide!?? I’m gonna die!”
And most recently
MHGU
“Stop running away! Statis. Statis! Where’s my fucking Statis rune!?”
anyone else remember a few years ago when "emergent gameplay" was the major buzzword? I always think of that when I think of BoTW. It wasn't the best open world game ever it was the best emergent game ever, in fact maybe the only good one.
The game has all these systems and you get to play around with them and do weird shit. I don't know of any other game that has so many systems with so much interaction that isn't just a total sandbox and not really a "game" like gary's mod or something.
That said playing with the systems to see what you can do just for the sake of doing it obviously isn't fun for everyone, I think that's why some people hated it, if you're not motivated by messing with shit for the sake of messing with shit you're gonna get bored fast. If you are though it offers a lot of shit to mess with.
That's not remotely what's being said here. Do you even know what a TECHNOLOGY thread is
Metal Gear Solid 2 did the ice melting first
