Obviously not the story aspects but that the gameplay is top tier and characters were great during these games along with the atmosphere and world building

If you're at all interested in trying the series out, this is definitely the most bang for buck. So even if you might not play right away or unsure, I'd say get this while it is still 40 bucks because its a great deal

Do what I did.
Skip every single fucking cutscene and just get on with the game.
Gameplay wise, 2 final mix is the best out of all the games, so you can just play that one and then drop it.

Kingdom Hearts 2 is the only game on it worth a damn. KH1 has aged like milk and the spin offs are only worth playing if you care about the story and at best are shitty versions of KH2 gameplay wise.

Not really, loading times are horrendous in that version.

First one has a lot of goofy charm and great music but the gameplay is pretty basic and the controls can be unwieldy at times.
Second is a cringekino masterpiece that is legitimately one of my favorite games of all time. This is where the story started to take itself too seriously, but imo it was still good and things like Roxas' character arc are really memorable.

From there play whatever you feel interested in, if you're hungry for more. Just know that you've already seen the best the series has to offer in terms of both gameplay and story. Re:coded and Chain of Memories have cool gameplay ideas and Days has the best story outside of 1 and 2 so I'd say try one of those before the rest.

If you just care about the gameplay get 1.5+2.5 and only play 1 and 2. GBA CoM is fine but stay the fuck away from the remake

It's good enough. Longer load times than the PS4 version but everything else is solid

The loading times are ungodly terrible. To the point it ruins the game as form changes are a loading screen that take on average of 5 seconds of the enemies doing shit because you're locked in a screen. Its rough.

You get six games so it's good value if you enjoy it.

Playing thru 2FM for the first time right now, it's one of the best action RPGs I've ever played, make sure you play on critical. 1 is pretty bad until the endgame but still worth a play through to appreciate 2 more
