>finally beat the Schizoid Man after 10+ attempts >frantically looking for a save point so I don't have to deal with that bullshit again >make it to Paranoia's Door, don't have the key but I try and open it anyway >it's poisoned >die >have to fight the Schizoid Man again
This is the last time I let Yea Forums meme me into playing a "hidden gem"
This game is way too fucking difficult. I get that the Schizoid Man was meant to be a pleb filter, but I keep trying to talk to the Wind to save my game after the fight, but it doesn't respond. I don't know if this is a bug, or if the Wind just cannot hear, but I'm probably just uninstalling at this point.
Yeah, well guess what, dipshit? I've tried that before, but I can't see anything besides confusion and disillusion. Maybe think for a second before you get on your high horse next time.
Thanks user! Music is my favorite hobby and i couldn't let this one pass. Never seen them live and this could even be their last world tour so why not, you know?
Lincoln Cooper
Schizoid Man is the dumbest shit ever written. It has nothing to do with schizoid personality disorder, it looks like Sinfield just heard “schizoid” somewhere and decided to use it because it sounds cool.
Thomas Hughes
We can all agree Fallen Angel was the hardest boss fight in the series right?
Hey, guys? I got to the part where you're reincarnated as a young boy with acne and a weak bladder, and I learned how to play Monopoly... but how do I complete the tutorial to sing in the rain? It's way too difficult for a tutorial, in my opinion. >Fallen Angel >hardest boss user...
i normally post the prog list and offer downloads in these threads but ive got classes in a few minutes, so i cant, i can however post my slsk if anyone wants to download some prog from me that way, ill also post the list
shit, came in this thread just to share my hype for Tarkus. most intense boss fight of my life.
Josiah Richardson

Don't get me wrong, this game is REALLY entertaining... but the lack of dialogue is a little frustrating. Was it just an artistic decision by the developers, or is this just a glitch for me?
>he didn’t summon the fire witch >he didn’t add the piper to his party and learn the ancient lullabies Literally just get good
Eli Phillips
the fuck is slsk my dude?
Liam Fisher
i agree but roger is a cunt >muh dictatorship!!! >fuck capitalism!!! >socialism rules yeah! meanwhile >is a total cunt tyrant in his life (and was in pink floyd) >charges +100€ for tickets guy's a total hypocrite
Charles Davis
Oh oh oh can't wait until you get to the Court, that shit's crazy
Nathaniel Torres
literally just google slsk retard
Lucas Brown
That’s purely just the moonchild arc, one you finish that section the pace picks right back up
Liam Sullivan
YES! She enjoys the Discipline era the most, but Islands is her favorite album.
Cat's foot, iron claw Neuro-surgeons scream for more At paranoia's poison door Twenty-first century schizoid man
Blood rack, barbed wire Politician's funeral pyre Innocents raped with napalm fire Twenty-first century schizoid man
Death seed, blind man's greed Poets starving, children bleed Nothing he's got he really needs Twenty-first century schizoid man
The wall on which the prophets wrote Is cracking at the seams Upon the instruments of death The sunlight brightly gleams When every man is torn apart With nightmares and with dreams Will no one lay the laurel wreath When silence drowns the screams?
Between the iron gates of fate The seeds of time were sown And watered by the deeds of those Who know and who are known; Knowledge is a deadly friend If no one sets the rules The fate of all mankind I see Is in the hands of fools
Confusion will be my epitaph As I crawl a cracked and broken path If we make it we can all sit back and laugh But I fear tomorrow I'll be crying.
Welcome to post-modernism. It's just like King Crimson said.

>Can't attain the rank of Sentimental Mercenary
What the fuck else am I supposed to do? I beat the She Chameleon, put the jigsaw people together and joined the Brotherhood of Assassing
I would say this is one of the best open world games if the fucking flying ship dungeon wasn't so goddamn terrible. I must have gone around the layout of the damn thing 4 times before I realized it was just looping around and the walls were changing color. Call me retarded if you want but earlier room puzzles in the game sort of implied this would be the case. The game definitely picked up with the final boss against the march hare on the moon. Also the sunrise ending after the moon silently self destructs was pretty cool.
Also OP, I feel your pain. That dude was hard, the wind boss was just as bullshit, and the ai on epitaph acted like it knew what I was gonna press. Still good tho.
Why is Cat Food such a fucking great track? Also, happy 77th birthday to Michael Giles.
Gabriel Wilson
How in THE FUCK do I beat professor nut butter?
Parker Cruz
Cast Walking on Air, go out of the window, and you're good. Just don't go too far or it bugs out and your screen goes bible black.
If you think that shit is hard just wait until the alleyway infantry, can't stand swarm fights.
Bentley Allen
>couldn't get past the cracked and broken path >even with the clues from the wall on which the prophets wrote I fucking hated this game, it's so frustrating I want to try again tonight now that you've brought it up, but I fear tomorrow I'll be crying >thinking about the section with getting the fucking wind to hear you I swear I fucking lucked out on moving to the outside to look in on that part, I never want to have to do that again
>On the Moonchild dungeon >Seems like a short stage, you can practically se the exit when you start, a few pretty easy enemies >Go to what you think is the exit, there's another floor >It's fucking empty >Spend forever wandering around until I find the exit >There's ANOTHER GOD DAMN EMPTY FLOOR What the hell is the point of a three part dungeon when the second two parts are literally nothing? In all seriousness Moonchild is one of my favorite KC tracks
If you sequence break and beat the talking drum early you can get the moccasin sneakers and crimson suspenders, which greatly increase the amount of money you earn in combat.

K*ng Cr*mson sucks and everyone in this thread (excluding me) is a turbo virgin onions chugging incel cringe and bluepilled l*dditor

user! You can't post good music in here, it makes the hippie prog music lovers a bit cranky!

>game is 90% cutscenes I'm not against story-based games,but this is a bit much...
equip the all black loadout and put a roofie in his drink when he's at the club. this'll cause him to hang himself after driving home

Forgot to mention, Atom heart mother goes I. Between Supper's Ready and Tarkus
Jeremiah Mitchell
Why the fuck is everything in this game red? I swear if I get to level five and theres one more red nightmare Im gonna freak
Oliver Clark
Starless above all of those
Robert Richardson
They kinda have some stuff now, but it's new live stuff which is very eh. I hate when musicians don't put their stuff on streaming services, disappointing that Prince had to die so I could listen to Little Red Corvette whenever I want to
>last 10 songs I listened to right now Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing Genesis - Jesus He Knows Me Billy Joel - Anthony's Song Alphaville - Forever Young John Miles - Music Don Henley - Boys of Summer Daryll Hall & John Oates - Maneater Bronski Beat - Smalltown Boy Eurythmics - Here Comes the Rain Again Sting - Fields of Gold
She can't use funeral march if you destroy all of the chains. Use sunlight attacks and you should chew through them in a few turns.

>finally make it to the farm >Lost half my health fighting through all the butterflies, flutterbies and gutterflies >Winston Churchill dressed to drag appears Post yfw when
I don't want to shit up this thread by mentioning Jojo, but 9/10 bands listed here I recognize from that series. Guess it's time I take the time to listen to these bands and become enlightened.
Yea Forums has the WORST taste in music what is it with all these meme bands?
Andrew Hughes
While on topic of Schizoid Man, can someone give me a viable tactic to beat him? Fripp keeps patching out all the ones I know of.
Joseph Garcia
Dadrock is great, pay Yea Forums no mind. 90% of what I listen to is the stuff.
Jose Robinson
If you can find the live at Pompeii music video watch it, it's the best version of Echoes, the piano outtro at the end as the camera slowly pans out from the ruined amphitheatre is an absolutely amazing shot
Playing pic related and I just cannot beat the fourth boss fight. Everytime I think I've got By-Tor down fucking Snow Dog destroys me. How the fuck am I supposed to fight them both?
This. Gameplay and storytelling don't have to be divorced from one another. Having an entire level based around the Evil Death Roll ability was fucking kino.
Uninstall. It just becomes some weird visual novel when you get to cross eyed Mary. My computer is in a family room, I'm not playing that shit with people looking over my shoulder.
Lucas Baker
Yeah but Epic by Faith No More came out in 1990. Also Eurobeat
William Lewis
Ratatat, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Rage Against, Ashes of Soma, Rise Against. Not nearly as quality as the 1980's, but good bands are still around.
Andrew Hall
my my, sounds good ill try that next time
Sebastian Jones
I'd say around 85 or 86. Some good stuff in the 90s, but most of it is shit compared to everything before about 1986.
Daniel Moore
A lot of these fandoms are dead because there's no new content from them anymore or they were just fads. JoJo has been around for over 30 years and only continues to grow. It still pushes out a consistent flow of fun and evidently timeless content.
Justin Anderson
Sometimes it's nice to have a bit more variety in the level design though, I feel like the sequel did ambience and environments a lot better.
how did ANYONE beat this shit without a walkthrough back in the day? the temples of syrinx puzzles are so fucking elaborate and there's literally no checkpoints
Yea Forums is a shit board full of 14 year olds who dislike anything other than slightly outside the mainstream mumblecore
Easton Gomez
>he didn't bring mint jam to the bossfight It literally trivializes any status effect boss, I know there's only like 3 in the game, but if you're having a hard time, use it.
I'm a major proghead and yet I can never really stand listening to Pink Floyd. Something about the lack of technical expertise from the players or the overly long aimless compositions never appeal to me.
Only the early Syd Barrett stuff appeals to me and feels creative without being arbitrarily pretentious. I love side long epics and Brian Eno style ambient as much as the next guy but Echoes puts me to sleep
Evan Green
I haven't been on Yea Forums in a while, I think it's because I've burnt through most of their essentials and all that's being posted now feels like pretentious garbage to me. Recommendations were the only thing they were ever good for, actual music discussion on Yea Forums is a joke
Cooper Bennett
I trusted the Friendly Stranger, how much did I fuck up?
i am now back from classes, if you have anything you want from my collection, just say the word and ill upload it

Started listening to some prog around 2 years ago. Suddenly got the urge the other day to listen to some more since I only hit the surface so thanks bros.

>Final Chapter: In the Court of the Crimson King
I'm not gonna make it, lads.

Saw them twice last year, I was in awe the whole time. The first time I was in he third row so the drums were a bit too loud to listen to the whole range of the other instruments. Still,it was the bet concert I have ever been to. I-m seeing them again this year, also with my wife. You-re in for a great time my friend.
Josiah Williams
I got some $90 seats for November. I'm much excite
Hudson Parker

Jaxson Roberts
You have to get the upgrade in del davis tree farm, otherwise he's impossible
Carson Lee
I don't have any clever puns to make about an instrumental album, but the Snow Goose deserves a mention. Early Camel is top tier prog, and this is one of my all-time favourites.
>sidequest to attract a partner >she brings me into her home >picking all the right dialogue choices >fall asleep in bathtub after she leaves the encounter >wake up and shes gone >burn the house down in a fit of rage >this starts the nowhere man secret boss
Its ok but the moment to moment gameplay can be a tad repetitive at times. I think there are better entries in the series
Joseph Powell
Throw in Taurus II and Nine Feet Underground
Dylan Lewis
Gang up on him Alternatively just use Purple Haze Really KC is strong but not as unbeatable as people say, Diavolo just uses it strategically
Christopher Robinson
>this popular other thing made your choice of music acceptable enough for you to finally socialise with others and leave your parent's basement >this ruins it in anyway at all
You are literally your own worst enemy

as someone who got into jojo(before the anime) and prog rock at the same time and enjoyed the references in the former so this doesn't bother me much. the music references were a major draw to me in fact.
Julian Jackson
>halfway through the game alberto starts mumbling to himself and then chases you around with a lighter what the fuck was his problem?
Luis Turner
nice strawman faggot, but to kill your retarded skewed logic: prog fans =/= j*jo fans
If you played the first game you can get the Working Man weapon that does 7-9 damage a swing
Adrian Allen
it still fucks me up that he an hero'd. he had a japanese wife and his son did newgrounds cartoons, he was /ourguy/.
Jacob Sanders
I had some good conversations with him on Twitter a couple years ago, he was very open about his fight with cancer. A shame he died before I could attend a show, he was a great musician.
Ian Clark
There's nothing wrong with liking JoJo and Prog, or even getting into Prog because of JoJo The problem is people being obnoxious and shitting up unrelated comment sections with epic maymays
Kevin Rogers
fuck me I had a huge brainfart moment, I was thinking of Kieth Emerson. Wakeman is based though for loving cats alone. Saw ARW live and he walked into the stands with a keytar and it was fucking awesome.
Blake Cox
Yeah, Jojo ruined Yes for me. Every song of theirs on YT has tons of jojo maymays littered in the comments, only ever referencing roundabout
>weird ass chamber with a fuckload of enemies >Constantly have priests and magicians chanting spells on me >A fuckload of doors >Boss rush if you get a door wrong >All doors are wrong unless you find some forced waifubait by chance >No fucking john what a fucking prick how am i supposed to cope with this get in to get out cryptic crap with no assist characters does the game get any better?
