It's a massively overrated game that nobody gave a shit about until retards started circulating the myth that the game is all about rape, something they picked up from TBFP. Completely broken gameplay is things "done right" for you? Most of the mechanics to avoid stalkers don't work and actually greatly increase your chances of dying. The best thing to do is just ignore stalkers even exist and when they spot you just run until the chase music stops which generally doesn't take long. Don't bother with the hiding mechanics. It'll just get you killed. Also, the dog is useless outside those few moments you are required to use him to progress. It's a bad game. I know horror fans are mostly stuck in "beggars can't be choosers" territory but that doesn't mean you have to pretend it's icecream when you eat shit.

That wasn't my experience at all with the game, although I'm going to admit that on Daniela's scenario I did prefer to run away rather than hide.
