How does this game play today? Still good?

I guess it was alright, not what I had hoped for coming from 3. I guess it has more appeal for fans of 4, which I never really got into, although most people seem to praise it.

It cost more than usual to make due to the hand drawn visual style, then sold poorly like all Wario games.

They pretty much explicitly said they'll kill any game with similar gameplay to others like they did with Paper Mario and Mario&Luigi. Plus a game with soul will never be produced in today's Nintendo anyway.

The original Saturn games is genuinely the most wonderful, soulful game I’ve ever played. Don’t bother with the Steam version or the PS2 version it’s based off of, both butcher the analog control and momentum system of the original.
