other dudes are damaged badly and hiding in hut that had tiny crabs in it.

And that was the day I fought crab army and almost lost my whole gang.

don't worry, for some reason the game runs better with old graphic cards (I'm playing in an old notebook with intell 3000 with 4G of ram and it runs just fine).
just put the texture settings in the low and turn of the shadows, the game is already pretty ugly so it won't make a big diference

devs are no longer working on new content for kenshi they are only bugfixing

I made a smithy and it failed so I made a sake distillery on the next building and just sell sake and gohan on my smithy

look at it like an epic story. make a small goals in game under the ultimate goal of not being a weak shitter, maybe even taking down the united cities or anti slavers or cannibals or hivers or 7th legion or whatever depending on what kind of character you'd want to be.

I've got a squad of 15 and we finally all have good gear. So far I've just been wandering around exploring the map, but I think its finally time to settle down. How do you decide where to settle down? Kind of worried once I start base building I'll no longer have any reason to travel around and see the map

You can set up a shop on vanilla, it's just that the AI is fucked up and so is the economy. There is some mods that try to make it work but the reality is that this whore of a world is broken and everyone can only buy booze or food.
I guess it'd be fun to make a dinner place.
