The amount of small details you may not even see in the OG Silent Hill games is just insane. Like, there's entire buildings and rooms that are fully modeled, but not accessible.

Mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
DON'T use W10's own virtual disc app! Don't install under C:\Program Files\ !
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate.
Follow the SH2 widescreen fix site's instructions to the teeth, and you should be fine.
For 3 & 4, check the Guide.

-Never play below Normal difficulty
-Replaying them all is recommended
-Turn down the ingame Brightness setting
-Don't try to kill everything that moves, especially outdoors

And the game is Silent Hill 2, it's not a survival horror game it's an action game like resident evil, the only scary part about the game was the shitty camera in 3D controls mode, if you set it to 2D the game becomes way better

well duh, SH2 is the easiest game of the series.
SH2's "normal" is practically same as 1's "easy", though it still lacks the quick and agile enemies the original got.

I've played all the SH gsmes and still don't get why there's so much blood and destroyed equipment like this squad car just scattered around.

Something cleared the town out. But some endings have Harry waking up so it could be all a dream. Sometimes ambiguity just works. I think the first one is very kitchen sink though and I like it

I believe reading that they just rolled with it so it literally is a kitchen sink that just happens to be really cohesive. I love the Silent Hill aesthetic and atmosphere. I miss them so much, user.
