The problem isn't the difficulty, it's the fact that it's added nothing to gameplay. It doesn't even keep you moving because there's no hunger cost if you stand still.

not that user but amplified is not at all the same effect, amplified is far too exaggerated and also runs like ass as the lighting and block rendering in modern minecraft is also fucked beyond belief.

The problem isn't that it's hard to do, it's the fact that it's a piece of shit mechanic that shouldn't exist. It's infuriating to have to fill up your hunger meter every 15 minutes when in past versions this wasn't even a thing

yes but that means you can only explore what you pre-generated. Fine for singleplayer but not really viable for servers to do this.
