Congrats on being tricked by the very fucking evil things you have been trying to kill for 3 games.
Now now just because I spend every waking moment of my existence attempting to convince Tali fags that their waifu is the pathetic leftover bait for weak willed simpletons and they must therefore be the virgins to my chad doesn't mean that I'm just trying to find ways to convice myself that there are people more pitiful than I am.
Mattock all day everyday.
Excuse me but refuse is the only good ending. It's just not a good ending for you, but the species of the next cycle.
-In Destroy you destroy everything the Reapers tell you to destroy because the Reapers tell you to do so.
-In Synthesis you destroy literally all life in the galaxy and replace it with what the Reapers want because the Reapers tell you to do so.
-In Control you destroy yourself and take control of the Reaper platforms because the Reapers tell you to do so.
So every ending except refuse is you giving up and letting the Reapers get what they want. All of the endings are the bad ending except the one that can be a good ending in the distant future.
I fucking loved how Javik shit on everything people knew about the Protheans.
I can't believe anyone gives a shit about that pointless non-character. I didn't hesitate for a second the first time I installed his DLC to use him as the mandatory sacrificial lamb in a suicide mission where everyone survives except Cerberus. He's so inconsequential that he might as well not exist. So he died to help me kill Miranda and Jacob.

What did it throw a fucking rod?
I guess that's what you get when you refine whale oil into gasoline since crude no longer exists. And then your mechanic puts her greasy mitts all over everything due to wearing a suit and not caring about getting all filthy.

The asspull with the AI? Lmao just build more robots dude.
The whole ending sequence is the reapers trying to persuade you against killing them by using "reason." Their argument is that organics and synthetics can't get along so we, the big scary evil synthetics, will just wipe everyone out early as a favor for when they get big for their pants. However, it's fucking retarded because the whole conflict that represents this view, the Quarians vs Geth, is easily solved if you are not deliberately making bad choices. Of course this isn't brought up in the ending because the game sucks.
No, you are not "doing their job" when you kill the synthetics. You are killing the reapers and putting an end to their cycle of genocide that's based flawed logic.
The other two endings are straight up traps, but the Reapers absolutely did not want you to destroy them. That's why that retarded end sequence is just the Starchild (the reapers appealing to Shepard's emotional trauma) basically begging for life. Why do you think they had to pull some shit out like "oh no I'll kill EDI :(" just to make the other options even semi plausible?
>"no no I don't care if you single handedly united the Geth, synthetics and organics can't get along! You can trust us, the big evil machines that wipe out all life in the galaxy whenever we want to."

You absolutely are doing their bidding. Giving Shepard any choice at all shows that they could have put any terms on the table. If Shepard can choose to destroy them and they will not fight back, there's no reason for them to not have allowed the option of letting them end themselves instantly with no collateral damage. Instead the Reapers insisted that they should merely be the collateral damage of a force that destroys all AIs and VIs. And because of the fact that the reason of the Reapers' existence is to prevent the overthrowing of biologicals by synthetics, then their destruction mandating the simultaneous eradication of all other synthetics fits perfectly. You did what was their prime motivation for tens of millions of years even though they were perfectly capable of stopping without it.
>oh boohoo, I'm too perfect
