The world that Aqua (and by extension everyone else) lives in is actually one floor of Super Castle Oblivion. The Real Real Organization XIII has Quaxa, her Nobody with Namine powers slowly sapping away at her memories and energy, forcing Aqua to spend a lot of time sleeping. Due to Aqua's innate magical ability, she unconsciously takes her memories back while sleeping, slowly, mind you. Her body subconsciously wants her to sleep a lot in order to regain her memories. This has been an ongoing war for the better part of two decades, all to facilitate the plan of Hornet, the person whom Xehanort is secretly a Nobody of. This is all explained in KH5.

I've tried 3 times to play Re:Com and I always stop by like the third boss. I know you can easily cheese the game with sleights but still I find the gameplay terrible. I hate everything about it

I'm planning on reading this on the train to work, saw it while in bed right now and skimmed some of it. It looks like it includes some of the kino that I noticed while playing, like that shit in the ending cinematic where everyone is not looking in the same direction, so I'm sure it'll be a good read with things to pick apart and criticize. It's usually always the shipping stuff that gets included

As awful as this theory is with all the shit like the RIKU'S TRUE LOVE FOR SORA nonsense, things like the "May your Hea—" scene with Xibar hard cutting to black with the DDD drop sound and Riku's hair changing to something DDD-like are pretty suspicious.

I've worked out 3 decks. One for straight up attacking. One for crowd control and of course sleights for bosses. Sonic Raid and Blitz got me through the first 7 worlds. I just got Sonic Blade and I fully intend to spam that shit. The game just isn't fun for me either, but I'm soldiering on. Ironically enough though, I find myself really enjoying the story. It's really intriging.

There's plenty to go, my friend, plus an entire second story. If you don't like it, feel free to just tap out and watch the rest of the cutscenes on YouTube.
My tips:
>put like 4 Blizzaga sleights right at the front of your deck to kill everything that isn't immune to Blizzard
>for bosses all you need is as many Sonic Blades as you can physically fit into a deck and like 6 Cures
>make sure you spend your Moogle Points to get better cards
>use the shiny cards at the beginning of a Sleight as they use up less CP but go away after the first time you use them

BTW Blizzagaing everything will be faster than Strike Raid and Blitz guaranteed in terms of killing mobs, especially large ones. There's only a couple worlds where Blizzards don't work and I think you've already been past most of them

Thanks for the tips, my friend. I think I've got the basics down pat, but I never knew Blizzaga was that vital. I heard about the second story; you play as Riku, right? Well..I'm still going to try and stick with the game for the full and more "personal" experience. You can only glean so much from watching a "movie" version, you know?

Yep. Just make sure you spam that Blizzaga. At the very tail end of the first story you can get Mega Flare which is literally a screen nuke, but that's very late and you might even have to specifically grind for it if you haven't been doing a lot of leveling earlier. Blizzaga isn't quite a screen nuke, but 4 should be enough to take out most mobs until you're in lategame.

Because playing them in release order how they were intended to be played. You're supposed to figure stuff out as you play through the games, get acquainted with Sora and pals and suddenly be thrust into BBS wondering how it all fits together, etc. The story seriously makes more sense if you just played them in release order. Also, since you're doing Days and then KH2, you're going to make KH2's intro lame since it relies a lot on mystery which will be lost if you play Days. Days may take place before KH2, but it is intended to be played after. I feel sorry for you because your experience with the series is already worse than it would have been if you had played in release order.

Also, you started with one of the worst games in the franchise. At very most, the majority of fans would consider it middle tier.

It's bad for you because you aren't playing the games in the order the developers fully intended you to play them in. Obviously something is going to be lost if you don't follow that order. This isn't really an opinion thing, any fan could tell you that starting with BBS is just plain a bad idea and it doesn't help the story gel any better or anything, you pretty much just start off on the wrong foot and get thrown headfirst into bizarre shit that you won't get any explanation for until KH1 and stuff like that. Just, yeah, that sucks. You should still consider playing KH2 before Days to be honest. Although it's earlier in the timeline, it's very clearly meant to be played after KH2 and as a follow-up.
The gameplay isn't that hot, every time they have commands there's some way to easily abuse them, some bosses are complete bullshit, the combat overall is just plain worse than KH2, plenty of fans consider it to be sort of the downfall of the series from a plot perspective, etc. Like I said, at very most the majority of fans would consider it middle tier for the franchise if they don't outright hate it.
