Decent but it could be better. Upgraded visuals and music are a nice bonus.

what is emulating this like? is the combat hard to do?

Considering how the game is pretty much intrinsically linked to the DS’ hardware, my guess is that it would be pretty hard to do. I’ve only played the game on the original hardware, tho, so I can’t say for sure.

did you play with both screens?

Yeah I used mouse to control neku and keyboard for the partners, works surprisingly well too. If you play in fullscreen you don't have to worry about clicking outside of the game window which is really helpful.

I tried this because I liked Ghost Trick and it was recommended to be alike but no it wasn't and this game is fucking boring.
