Tuber Simulator

RCT Classic
Bloons TD5 / TD6
Summoner's War
Pixel Gun

Nothing.
Beware of the gacha shills if they come.

I’ve been playing animal crossing pocket camp.
And I realize as I play that it objectively isn’t very good but I somehow still enjoy it.

Granblue Fantasy.

Gacha shill here. Play Dokkan Battle.

You would think after like 12 years there would be a mobile game that's worth a shit but nope.

Battlecats

I havent played a phonegame since Snake on my ancient nokia 3310. Weirds me out how it's making that much money. Who the fuck plays this garbage?

Controls suck to use on normal sized phones.

Emulators.

Pubg.. it's pretty darn good.

Soccer manager 19.. casual but long term also.

Any dungeon crawler variant, shooter/rpg/looters.

Paid apps are even gooder.. but who pays for games??

..its the only mentality holding phone gaming back really.

Azure lane!

why?

Every game worth playing is an absolute slog to play on a touchscreen, if it can even be played on a touchscreen.

Because I had my current phone for way too long and felt like treating myself to an upgrade

Children, wahmen, grandmas. Or anyone with a subhuman IQ.

>bought a high end phone
>can't even run GameCube and Wii games on 2K resolution and 60fps because Dolphin devs can't into Android

>still have a old S4
>want to upgrade it
>rememberI never really use it besides checking the news in bed every morning
>no one texts or calls me anyway because no friends
>dont upgrade at all

Yeah but you can always play tactical / turnbase rpgs

Solitare, freecell or Mahjong.

>imagine touch controls for the gamecube controller
>imagine motion controls for the wii controlle
the question is not can they but should they?

Big Fish Casino

Just play gacha games, you fucking nerd.

Doesn't hurt to try Doom right?
It's also compatible with most mods from pc too, so go crazy.

what is a Bluetooth gamepad

You really wanna play games on your phone with a bluetooth controller?

Are there any good farming games?

I've never played mobile games before, but I've sunk into Girls Frontline 3 months ago and can't stop

Any good LOGIC games to recommend?

Everything is piss easy and microtransactions shit.

There are virtually no mobile games that are worth your time. They're either all god-awful flash-game-alikes, dumbshit timewasters (especially gachas), painfully generic garbage ("Modern Combat", "Iron Blade", "Asphalt", etc.) or shitty mass-produced Chinese dataminers masquerading as popular titles. It's a shame, mobile gaming is such a fucking wasted opportunity. The hardware is there for some pretty cool stuff.

Anyway, there's some neat stuff out there. The first and most obvious thing is emulators; there are some fantastic emulators out there, my favorite being the DOS emulators. I think there's even a x86 emulator that works for some games, and a Win95 emulator as well. I don't have experience with either, though.

The next thing is ports. There are a ton of Android ports of games both new and old, from stuff like GTA, to RPGs like Planescape Torment/FF/Chrono Trigger/KOTOR, and plenty of other stuff. I quite like the ports of various Roguelikes like Nethack, even if they are a bit torturous to play without a keyboard. Someone even ported the HL1 engine to Android, so you can play HL1 (and it runs wonderfully). There's some other really neat PC ports, like HL2 and Mount and Blade.

I can't think of very many native games I particularly like. Pixel Dungeon is pretty cool I guess.

Oh, and I forgot to mention shitty psuedo-ports that look and run like garbage.

Oh, two other games I forgot to mention:

Wazhack is another very fun roguelike. World of Guns is nice and relaxing, especially if you're a gun autist. Both are technically PC ports, I guess, but they're both just as full featured as their PC counterparts.

yup, it's comfy And I've got a lot of free time on my job

Chaos Rings 3
AxE Alliance Vs Empire
Space Justice
All those paid JRPGs like SaGa

Plague Inc

>ever buying Samsung phones
YIKES

Knights of the Old Republic
Rollercoaster Tycoon

The only game that was better to play on mobile than on the PC was Plants vs Zombies. But EA made the second one so broken to get you to spend money that it wasn't worth playing.
Tower defence and turn based strategy are the only games that don't suffer because of touch controls. Unfortunately neither one of those genres are doing very well.
It is a shame because all it would take is a half decent game from a talented developer to take over the market.

this

I dunno, it's always seemed like something that's cool to do once or twice, but not really as a serious thing. Doesn't it kill your battery playing anything above PS2/3 level? Can you really have decent gaming sessions on a phone screen?

>Bloons is like 7 dollars
yo

A good rule of thumb is: if it's free, it's probably skinner box shit riddled with micro transactions and hollow gameplay.
