I mean, I'm glad you intend to buy it. But if I can implore you, don't wait. Buy it now. I paid full price and was so goddamn blown away after beating it, I immediately bought the season pass DLC without a second thought, even though it hasn't come out yet. These developers deserve the support and I feel genuinely glad supporting them. I'm literally trying to find a good deal on a flightstick now.

I haven't been more satisfied after beating a game in years. Even beating Spiderman, God of War, Horizon, Breath of the Wild, Doom, none of these games made me feel like an absolute savage the way this game did. I never played an Ace Combat game before this, but this is probably going to stay glued right at the very top as my 2019 Game of the Year. Seriously, it's March and I can't think of a single game that might just top AC7 for me. Now I literally in the middle of the day just stop and thinking about how thrilling it is to control the skies in that F-22 Raptor. I just finished Defense of Stonehenge (first AC) and I'm starting to feel the same. Every mission is a massive thrill ride. Excellent mission design where you're forced to take decisions and act on second-long impulses. The fact that a small team in Japan can deliver such a thrilling high-end product is astounding to me.

I'd rather play a game that has tight, consistent pacing where every second is a blast to play over those bloated MMO-like SP games that waste all my life doing mundane shit to gather XP so I can get on with the main mission (looking at you Ass Creed Origins).

The 8 hour game with replay value needs to return. I'd pick that over some boring slog that lasts 40 hours.

I think it's due to the fact that they are a small team that they are able to make a product like this. In almost every case, more chefs in the kitchen is incredibly detrimental to game design and the finished product. There is an innate sense of intimacy involved with smaller teams that cannot be replicated otherwise, and when diluted the product as a whole suffers.

The series has a lot of die-hard fans that are pirates as well. I'm probably not buying it 'til a sale, and that's only to fuck around in online finally. Otherwise, emulating 4-5-0 is most peoples preferred methods, so they do need to figure out a way to monetize wisely soon with the audience they have acquired.

Why is the Ace Combat community so fucking comfy? I've never seen a franchise's fan base be this consistently friendly and informative to new players.

Why do people say this? It's just as good as Dishonored 1 and has some of the best level design in any game I've ever played.

Dishonored 2 improves a lot on the first game as well with better stealth, more abilities and powers, and two characters with unique powers to play through the game in two unique ways. Is it that the setting of Dunwall was more intriguing?

The main issue I have is the sections on the Dreadful Whale are pretty mediocre, and there's not enough characters there or dialogues like there were in the Hound Pits Pub in the first game. Outside of that the mission structures and Karnaka as a whole was pretty interesting as a location and I enjoyed it.

Take your time to wipe out drones and AAMs on the Arse Birds. Easier to beat it when you're not constantly on missile alert. Also bring XAAM or pulse lasers and use your flares.

BF can’t ever get the balance of jet right and jets are probably can never be balanced right. Jet’s either a fucking menance if they have strong missiles or they are completely shit and limited themself to the gun only. BF3 jet can’t even fire a missile without upgrade and the missiles are quite underwhelming. They get BTFO if there’s more than 2 infantry with stinger on the ground. They only dogfight each other and be useless because they can’t even kill a tank in one strafe most of the time and have no chance doing anything against infantries. Jets on console is especially useless because you can’t even see the vehicles on the ground due to shitty draw distance.
