What is there to look forward to now? Prey 2? Routine? I can't think of anything to look forward to with hope other than those anymore.

New IPs

we should care because...?

Several of those things have not happened yet, one of those things you even mentioned have not happened yet, and several of those things spell a bright future for games.

Half Life 3

Sekiro
Nioh 2
And Death Stranding, user.

All of those things are confirmed, though. Think more along the lines of HL3 or a God Hand sequel.

And most of them were mediocre to alright games. Just started playing FFXV, and i like it, but damn do i feel bad for anyone who seriously waited all these years for this. Story is way less exciting than previous FF games, and open world stuff along with gameplay is unpolished and unsatisfactory in many areas.

OP, genuinely curious. How many of those games that you were looking forward to actually lived up to the hype? Maybe it's not worth investing so much time and energy waiting on the next big thing and divert that focus to something productive, like bettering yourself?

Just a thought.

Did you get the royal edition ?

>cyberpunk 2077 confirmed not vaporware
this isn't enough a reason to completely drop interest of a game

S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2
Dragon Dogma 2

>ff7 actually got a remake
lol, that shit is vaporware man its confirmed 10 year dev time because it was shown years ago but there's still nothing but silence outside of that one "gameplay" trailer that is pretty much all prebaked footage

>FF7 remake

Coming soon in 2039!

I got the windows edition on steam, brought all the DLC and it was only 25 so it felt like a good deal. The workshop adds some fun in having an entire squad of 2B's and using the keyblade. I usually keep the mods off though cause the physics are whack.

Duke Nukem Forever

TODD GIVE ME GODDAMN ELDER SCROLLS 6.

I DON'T CARE IF THE BASE GAME ATTEMPTED TO ACTIVELY HARM ME JUST GIVE IT A GOOD MODDING SYSTEM

Fallout 4 only got the mod kit after the first couple of DLCs dropped since they were mod tier DLCs, ES6 and Starfield are probably going to get public mod kits months after a paid mods store pops up. Also a reminder that the games will most likely be Bethesda store exclusives

Be careful what you wish for

dragon's dogma 2 is what im hoping for every year now

The biggest thing I'm looking forward to is SMT5 so I have a few years of looking forward to do.
And I'm wondering about Suda51's new project.

For unannaunced games, God Hand 2 would be a dream come true.

what a fag that you have to look forward to something instead of playing the good shit that's already out

We're probably getting dragon's dogma 2 after they're done with dmc5.

You're not supposed to look forward to things. Enjoy the things that are here, you fucking retard. Are you 12 years old? Holy shit.

Good to know Yea Forums still exists in 2030.

i hope so user, that series can only get better

Sekiro

I don't know why you're trippin though, op.
Japan's going hard, developing gem after gem right now, with very few exceptions.
I'm only worried about multiplayer on consoles being ruined with forced old mmo tier monthly subscription bullshit. And the western gaming scene in general going to shit, thanks mostly to EA absorbing so much just so they can kill it with overzealous and braindead decisions that're blatantly greedy and don't benefit us at all. Them, Activision, Bethesda, and ubisoft are aids.
And I hope those aids don't spread to the east. Konami already got infested and died. Capcom got pretty bad too for a while, but they managed to shake it off pretty hard this gen and make a solid recovery.
