City. Also had the best thug conversations.

Same here

ITS DA FREAKIN BAT

will they announce court of owls at e3 this year?

I just played City and Knight for the first time this last week and literally just finished Knight about 30 minutes ago. Although I didn't technically "finish" it because they make you do all the Riddler shit to actually get the ending of the game. Absolute fucking horseshit and ruined the entire experience for me. Watched the ending on youtube after and it fucking sucked anyway. I would say Knight was the best since City's pacing felt fucking retarded with how much they tried to cram in, and Knight felt more focused. But they shit the bed at the end, and I'm so angry with how the ending was locked behind bullshit side content that I feel like every second I spent on these two games was a fucking waste now.

Thanks for reading my blog.

I'm inclined to say City at the moment. I've played Asylum a few times but it's been so long. Origins I played through once but I recall not enjoying it as much as the earlier games. Haven't played Knight yet.

YOU SURE THIS GAME WORKS WITH 3 PLAYAS?

BATMOBILE BAD

All are great games but it is hard to compare Arkham Asylum to the latter 3.

The underground parts in City were fantastic. So atmospheric.

>those conversations about inmates wanting to rape harley and catwoman

City is objectively the best, in every way

I liked knight.

City, definitely

Asylum. Blew me away.

Instant ragdoll on KO is stupid

Knight, no contest.

They're all pretty excellent except Origins, though. Origins is just okay.

1. City
2a. Asylum (nurse Harley gives it the edge)
2b. Knight
POWER GAP
Origins

Asylum over all and for Halloween
Origins to be a detective, suits, and christmas.
But still pissed that Arkham Knight on ps4 is still holding my favorite suits hostage (dark knight earth 2 and JL3000) So I settle with Batman 1 million and Azrael suits.

I've only played Asylum and City. I think I like Asylum better; it feels to me like a more cohesive package than City. City's story is shit as well.

Asylum=Knight>City>Origins

knight by far

The first one was my favourite because it was so fresh and new. I liked City quite a bit because it really expanded on the formula in a satisfying way. Origins was just a mediocre retread. Knight was good, but by that time I was a little done with the series, and the car felt really out of place with the game mechanics, especially the tank bits.

>Protocol 10 takes a back seat
>That twist
>The whole story is filler
>Those riddler challenges
No fucking way mate

City. Could have been Knight if it had a better Jason/Knight story, but noooooo, we had Scarecrow and Joker instead. The Knight setup seems like anime filler until the real villains come in... so fucking bullshit.

Played them all right after each other so definitely Knight

FPBP, City is easy to go back to even with the combat and movement additions in Knight (which I can't say the same about for Asylum) had the best boss fights, and that ending still gives me chills

Reminder that Origins had the best boss fights.

City is better than Asylum because it has the city, and it's better than Knight because it doesn't have shitty tank battles, shitty Red Hood, and a rehash of Joker

Knight, worse thing about it was it's Jason Todd story. They should have revealed it WAY sooner and should have had Origins be the death of Jason Todd
Other than that it's easily the best

The Deathstroke fight alone supports this. The one in Knight felt like an insult.

I agree it had some pretty good ones, it and City did when compared to Asylum and Knight

I actually liked the scarecrow part more. We all fucking knew knight was jason so I didn't like that at all. And the joker stuff would have been good in a different fucking game, this didn't need joker.

Wasn't the Deathstroke fight just a bunch of QTEs?

>capeshit
I wish it would just die.

There literally isn't that many tank sections in Knight during the mainstory.
Red Hood wasn't bad so much as used wrong.
Joker was great faggot

Anyone saying Knight clearly didn't 100% it and have to slog through the boring ways they kept trying to implement the Batmobile all for that lame secret ending.
It's got a pretty weak story too.

Yes, though it actively punished you for spamming counter.
And I'd rather have that than yet another Tank battle. Those got old very quickly.

Maybe you should just die?

Can someone explain to me how Batman was one of the infected "Jokers" in Knight when he got cured in City?

He only drank half the vile, not all. And that is as much explanation as we get.

It’s the only one I 100% and I had fun doing it

The firefly fight. Knight fucked that up completely with just "Drive fast", origins actually had fighting him and goons/save cops at same time.

That's pretty fucking dumb, especially considering they don't even address it. I thought the way they handled Barbara was bullshit too, her not being dead was cheap and it's pretty unbelievable that Scarecrow knew that Batman would specifically hallucinate her killing herself.

Those challenges where you had to race to pull the bombs out of the ground were ass though.

I 200%, and it sucked. All you get is gold emblem suit and deal with extra autistic riddler.

The side missions were fun though
Story was also good, but it does have some plot holes

I did. It was pretty entertaining.

Did you niggas not play Season of Infamy in Knight? I got the GOTY edition and it’s easily my favorite with all that content.

Overall City.
I like some of what Origins does, and much of what Knight does too.
But City is a smoother experience, even if its surpassed by later games in some ways.

None because they all have decent atmosphere, voice acting, and art design but terrible combat.

I got that DLC and I did enjoy the scenarios. It was interesting seeing them play out, especially the Mr. Freeze one

What is so bad about the combat? That is the only thing anybody ever brings up negatively about these games. I think it works for the type of games that they are.

Each one had its strengths but I'd say Asylum for the Metroid like level design, atmosphere, and simple story.

City. Loved the animated costumes.

Did anyone else bother playing this? It was basically Diet Arkham for people like me who weren't able to play the actual games

Forgot image, fuck

Is that the PSP game?

Close. It was on Vita and 3DS

NO. BATMOBILE GOOD.

I somewhat recently replayed all the games and said fuck it and played Blackgate for the first time. I really disliked it; even getting past the visuals and change in perspective/gameplay I constantly felt lost and whatever progress I did make ended with a disappointing or annoying boss (the Joker and Penguin fights were awful).

final boss has a neat aesthetic tho

i have a hard time going back to asylum because of all the added gadget and mobility options in the later entries that werent present in the first.

For me it was serviceable at the time of release since I couldn't play the console games. But nowadays it serves no purpose. Having to scan literally everything and the perspective being so limiting just hindered it so much.

City. The thugs conversations in all Arkham games are legit chuckles. Knight soiled itself after the underground tank boss and the other mega tank boss. Bad game design, I can't stand Knight version of Riddler. Catwoman sections were a nightmare on NG+ hard difficulty but it beats Knight's batmobile garbage. I want to sniff Oracle's ass and creampie her. Anyhow,

City => Origin > Asylum > Knight

Origins is mega comfy, amazing boss fights, and its biggest flaw it ends right when you think there's more. That and how obvious it was WarnerBros executives REALLY pushed to make Bane the main villain just in time for the last Nolan Batman movie. Fuck Origins Bane, really forced tier villain.

agreed

Not that guy, Yea Forums is legitimately a horrendous board. I'd take Yea Forums's contrarianism over Yea Forumsmblr's legbeards and nu-male shit anyday

it's true that the later games improved on literally everything mechanically, but Asylum just fits into a perfect little package for me. It doesn't need anything more than what it has.

it did have a great atmosphere for sure and i still loved the game.really liked the riddles of villians that weren't present in the game.

Attached: 20180731070228_1.jpg (1920x1080, 245K)

Agreed. While the later games have a lot going for them (being, in some respects, better than Asylum), they're all, at the same time, much more flawed than Asylum, if that makes sense. Asylum feels like the perfect execution of a specific vision; one that wasn't hampered by the expectations of being 'bigger and better' than its predecessors.

Those conversations about moving to other cities to avoid the Bat are very good

>I'm thinking of moving to Metropolis, I don't think HE cares to much about simple crimes
>Are you crazy? My cousin lives there. Metropolis gets blown out of the face of the planet every other week and people keep getting abducted by scientist or aliens.

>Maybe Central City is a good place to retire
>pff, at least sometimes you can see the Bat coming

Attached: 1535422204731.gif (468x346, 2.28M)

I'm actually surprised how much they were able to get away with considering it's rated T
