Infinite would've been fine if it at the very least had the DLC characters packed in and on day one. The amount you new characters you got out of the box was pathetic.
The thing that really bums me out about a prospective MVC4 is that I think they would overcorrect and turn it into X-Men vs. Street Fighter and friends like MvC2.
For me, the peak of Vs rosters was UMvC3. It had a perfect amount of variety with the characters from both sides. Only thing it's really missing is an actual Mega Man.
Throw Megaman.EXE in UMvC3 along with Daredevil to maintain the balance, and I would never need to buy another fighting game again.

The Symbiote originally belonged to Spider Man and it was part of his costume. When it left and bonded to Eddie, it just kinda stuck.

I think had something to do with story reasons and the fact that Spider-man didn't get to the symbiote first in the movie so therefore it makes no sense to have spider symbol in the first place if Spider-Man didn't use it

I'm almost certain this is just bait someone started spreading around because if anyone told me this movie was made by Marvel studios I would have believed them. It's got quips out the ass, a generic female love interest, a simple paper thin plot, and a pg13 rating.

That's a shame to hear, I didn't see it expecting that but when I heard otherwise I actually became sort of interested.

The film was really held back the the rating and a wish to appeal to the widest audience. If it was made similar to the most recent wolverine film it would have done way better.

it was a big fucking mess, the plot moved at a weird pace and some action scenes kinda sucked, especially the final fight. I still had fun with it but overall its just not a good movie. It definitely got butchered at some point since they deleted a bunch of scenes.

Was gonna be R. Changed to PG-13 at the last minute in the hopes that one day it can cross over with Holland's Spidey.

No, but the backlash was bad enough that they knew doing it again would be suicide. So they scrapped the original version of 7 (which was just like 6) and made what we got.

Its okay. I liked it but it feels like theres a whole chunk of the movie missing, like someone ripped out the second half of act 2 since Venom goes from animalistic alien to "EARTH IS PRETTY FUCKING COOL WE'RE FRIENDS NOW WE ARE VENOM" off screen. I heard a rumor that they ripped out a bunch of goofy stuff before the last act for the sake of pacing and that would make sense.

That's because the humor was natural instead of feeling like a bunch of suits wrote it and the story was genuinely good enough to stand on it's own despite basically being a crossover film.

Honestly though, after watching it I was blown away just how amazing it was visually. Seriously, why the fuck does it look more interesting and dynamic then anything Pixar, Disney, or Dreamworks have ever made?

It felt like watching monsters inc or toy story for the first time and seeing visuals with that much love put in them

It's probably because it takes a long time to animate 1 character. I'd rather have a 3D MvC game with more matchups than having to wait for Capcom to recycle HD sprites from games over a decade. Maybe one day the process will be faster.

I'm hoping active tag returns in 4. Having assists again would make combos too much like DBFZ which already heavily borrows from UMvC3. Active tagging, while it downplays neutral somewhat, allows for creative mixups and combos. Besides, there would be longer neutral in Infinite if it had bigger stages which for 2v2 doesn't make much sense. If 4 is 3v3 the stages should be large.

Yeah man,I went in expecting a shitty cashgrab but they went all in with the unique visualstyle and the jokes were somehow really nice.
The story was meh,porky was pushing it a bit too far and should've been replaced - even if we got some good jokes out of it - and the ending felt ''look we got visuals'' kinda forced but I still liked it,especially considering it was aimed at people younger than us and I can see why they would love it.
What the fuck was wrong with peni's look though,it felt like somebody didn't bother animating her well and she was a last min addition because of the quality despite the spider-robot being topnotch.
Gwen looked uggo in a few angles too,at least the suit was cool in the movie.
