Just over 2 years ago from today, I destroyed the legacy of this game

My biggest vidya achievement is just complete a KMS run on God Hand, hard mode

I went in blind never having played a Souls game before and platinumed it in 10 days.

but the dates on the ending trophies don't make sense, there had to have been some outside knowledge on how to obtain that stuff by save scumming or something post first playthrough

The game had very little to offer.

> painfully linear
> dull environments
> basic combat akin to games released 20 years ago
> no story
> no music
> no dialogue
> pvp is laughable
> the least customization you’ll see in an RPG within the last 10 years
> holds your hand every step of the way

The only redeeming feature is the graphics, however given you’re so heavily restricted on where you can venture, you may as well just be looking at a painting on a wall.

I’m aggrieved to explain this for the 50th time, certainly given it’s 2 years old but here I go, for our newfriends....

I went in blind, upon reaching near the end and seeing how close I was to getting the platinum, I checked the hidden requirements to do so. I couldn’t complete all 3 endings in once because I’d already eaten the cords (if I’d known not to, I wouldn’t have).

I had to do a NG+ run to get the final ending, I did so in about 3 hours.

I've platinum'd DeS, DaS and DaS3 but I just couldn't bring myself to do the boring ass chalice dungeons. None of them are challenging but BB definitely seemed like the most tedious. DaS2 was just utter garbage and I didn't even finish it so I can't comment on that one.

If I’d known beforehand I could have done it for all 3 endings I would have, and saved myself the tedium of running through NG+.

There are 3 trophies, one where you submit, one when you fight and one when you fight after eating the cords (I think, something like that).

Given I’d already eaten the cords, I couldn’t do all 3 in one go.

I didn’t know about this beforehand because I went in blind.
