Strange topic. Most of Yea Forums is probably too casual to have heard the Gold Box RPG's.

Pool of Radiance has always been insanely good.

Eye of the Beholder was better.

the two really arent that similar...

Of course it is, no one ever disputed that. You may be thinking of the sequel, which was a clusterfuck that would damage your OS install while uninstalling it.

It's been thirty years user.

There's a DnD thread up right now.

I almost had a panic attack thinking I was 30, had to check the release date

I'm sorry user, didn't mean to cause that. Am I posting through time ? I'm in 2019.

Awesome, you played Duke Nukem Forever yet?

Someone's running that at RPG limit break this year

>played hours of this while being terrible at it as a kid on my commodore 128D
>get a guide booklet from Babbages
>understand the game better git gud and beat the ever living fuck outta it

and I'm still a turn based strategy addict to this day from this game

It's a fantastic game. In it you can do ANYTHING.

On emulator, yes. On the original hardware is soul crushingly slow to load the 64KB flippity floppers every single time you need to go anywhere or do anything like fucking save.
