The thing is, this is the guy that does V’s theme. He has to know something about the character in order to do that. Logic would dictate that someone told him V was Vergil. That isn’t something that could be misunderstood. You can’t write a character’s theme song without having been given intimate knowledge of that character, it would make no sense. That is just how I see it anyway. That being said... I have no idea where they are going with the plot, it seems to be one huge ‘what if’ mess at this point.

Ok here's my situation. I'm marathoning DMC with a friend and we're trying to hurry up since DMC5 is near. We just finished 3SE though with StyleSwitcher so it was a bit busted. My friend can't git gud that fast though so whatever.
What upset us though is when we finally got Doppelganger, we realised I can't take over the clone using my controller because we're using Parsec to stream from his machine, and the shit controller support is probably not having any of it, so we can't co-op it. We saw there's some doppelganger mods for DMC4, but they're split between vanilla and SE, with fuck all documentation and a lot of confusion.
Does anyone have any idea how to try and get co-op working? Ideally I'd take over the other character during singleplayer but if that doesn't work, just BP 2 player would be fantastic.

I don't think using Kalina Ann summoned them but rather they were never dismissed, they attack the enemy then return to the default position. I'm guessing majin reb summons them then they persist for a time even after switching, maybe depending on DT.

I just don't get how Vergil fits in magically. Okay, I know the common idea of Vergil being outright evil makes this hard to believe for a lot of people, but I'd like to point out a couple very interesting things that might lend credence to this.

>In Before the Nightmare, the prequel novel to DMC5 which is being marked as canon, Dante's exit from Hell was not by accident, the only means for him to have found a gate capable of letting him out entirely would require an intentional exit. The overall implication (where they outright mention Yamato) is that Yamato actively helped open the gate that Dante used to get out of Hell.

I think the summon swords allow for weapon switching to cancel and then buffer an attack. In this spot dante never physically does a launcher, but the summoned swords follow the second attack with a launcher, while dante grabs KA to do an attack. I think swapping to a different weapon cancels the attack and pushes it to a SS buffer to be completed, while you do a new attack with a different weapon, effectively allowing two attacks at the same time. It's like bayo, but instead of dodge it's weapon switch offset.

Helps that both Dan and Reuben has the same facial structure as Adam Cowie

It makes sense since despite looking the same Trish obviously has a completely different personality, Trish is more of the sexy dark femme fatale type, so she wears skimpier clothing and darker makeup.

Most obvious answer would be in the house and it's what causes Dante to be triggered, but i was thinking maybe he has the memory while he's in a coma before Yea Forums wakes him up. The scene with Dante going to his old home is most likely after that scene, since when he rides away on Cavaliere Griffon follows him, and Griffon is also in the scene of him DTing in the house. Maybe him having the flashback of Eva before waking up from his coma is what prompts him to go seek out his old home?
