The game is still okay by yourself, nothing spectacular other than the batshit insane story

Game has a lot of fun mechanics to fuck around with but by the time you're about halfway through one of the four campaigns you'll start to get frustrated with the constant interruptions and annoying design decisions. Game is worth it for the mercenaries mode though; it pretty much eliminates all the bullshit aspects of the campaigns and just lets you go nuts. Look up a video on the mechanics though, they aren't that complicated to learn but the game has no tutorial to teach you about them in the first place.

What platform? If it's PC, PS4 or Xbone it's an okay game. If it's 360 or PS3 don't bother.

at some point the novelty of laughing at the worst game ever made gets old and it's just you and a friend slogging silently through a piece of shit game that neither of you enjoy

What part of this turd could be considered "fun" in any aspect? Is it the unsatisfying, clunky shooting? Is it the 5 second long invincible transformation sequences every enemy goes through? The constant onslaught of QTE's?

It's fun on your own, but best played with a friend. One of my favorite games in the series. It's best if you don't take it seriously and just have fun with the gameplay, which is actually pretty good. Story is dumb and bonkers, but still kinda fun, I guess.

i don't think they are invincible user, they just have a lot of damage resist during the morph, like if you unload a magnum or ar with firepower 3 they still go down, it just takes more shots

Playing around withthe mechanics in Mercenaries (solo or with a friend), trying to set up melee/counter attacks while keeping the combo count alive and doing it all as fast as possible in hopes of getting a new high score. You know, the same shit that made RE4 and RE5 fun to play.

Not only do they not teach you about them but it's nothing like the previous 2 games. If you play RE6 like it's 5 it feels like dogshit but if you actually learn how to play it gets pretty fun.

Agreed. The demo made me hate the game until I saw videos of people playing mercenaries in the full version. The campaigns themselves hardly ever require you to do anything more than move and shoot which is probably why so many people drop it after playing a few chapters of Leon's campaign.
