What happened?
What happened?
Gameplay sucks. It is not fun.
Any other answer is either half true or flat out wrong.
Any of the olds left that still produce good games?
>Valve is shit
>Blizzard is shit
>Bioware is shit
>inb4 path of exile and such
I'm talking about companies around for more than 20 years
To be quite frank I'd rather play Anthem or Overwatch than another minute of Artifact.
Stalin had millions of followers.
Jesus had twelve.
Jesus was worse than Stalin confirmed
BBbBRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTT
how can Jesus even compete
Was Jesus even real?
But now Jesus has billions of followers. Does that mean he's wrong?
Hole shit, thats not a lot of players.
This, but also a few other things. They waited too long to try and get in on a market where all of there competitors are free to play. Then, after buying the game, you still have to buy packs. The random distribution of heroes in the lanes is also bullshit. Conceptually, I was really interested, but I don't think there was every really a chance of this working out.
No, but it does mean Based Artifact (or, as portmanteau aficionados call it, Basedifact) will rise again after the big update tonight.
sorry for this it's involuntary at this point
There is an update coming? Does Valve think it will gather new players? what is the point at this point?
There was probably someone called 'Jesus the Anointed' who was executed by crucifixion, but beyond that the figure we know today is a construct pulling attributes from Mithras, Dionysus/Bacchus, and the many Jewish Messiah-claimants of the period (which was MUCH more popular before the rise of Christendom than after it, but which there still has been at least one of almost every generation since, just as there are continued claimed prophets in general).
A lot of online games are "playing the long game" so to speak. Some have managed to bounce back. Look at Siege.
If you build it, they will come.
I feel foolish that I was hyped for this game. I was ready to drop all other games and play this as my "full-time" game. Good thing I had MTGA to fall back on.
352 if perfectly fine number of players for a card game
it's ok as long as there are 2 players
BRRAAAP
Are you Anger?
Valve forgot that thier market are peruvians, russians and pignoys with no money to spent on anything. Thier model was absolute trash.
Look at auto chess, it a F2P custom map in F2P game with 0 P2W elements. now they have like 5 milion subscribers and will probably make more money than artifact
They let a MtG vermin into the team, it was doomed from the start.
valve deserves it for how they've treated their fans in the last years
They tried to enter a market that was already overcrowded and nearing the end of its hook phase with a game that's not fun to play and a pay model that your average consumer isn't gonna pay in this market of 'free to play' shit.
If they had a free to try model then it might not have bombed so hard but even then if the game's not fun people aren't going to bother sticking around.
with a f2p model it would be an even bigger failure
at least this way they jewed a million people out of $20 before they realized the game is pure dogshit
Bad meme. A lot of people bought it and tried to like it. Problem is that it just wasn't very fun.
t. bought it and don't mind the business model but it's simply not enjoyable to play
>jesus
>real
IT’S HERE
BASEDIFACT IS SAVED
I never said the game wasn't shit, right now the only thing that would save it is a complete overhaul of the mechanics and a relaunch. That alone would take almost a year to do properly, but considering it's Valve they'll probably abandon it and focus on cashing in on Dota Chess instead.
yep, fuck them
to be honest I wouldn't declare it dead yet
I witnessed Valve doing a complete 180 on CSGO and turning it around into the most popular FPS on PC.
I wouldn't be surprised if some dumbass update to Artifact completely turns it around as well.
