None of them are communist.
None of them believe in getting rid of private property, in class warfare, in owning the means of production. At the very most you are looking for collectivist, and that's not really accurate either.
The Brotherhood is an expansionist meritocratic technocracy. The Institute is an isolationist meritocratic technocracy. Both however suffer from extreme nepotism. Meanwhile the Railroad essentially has no political agenda outside of synth rights - just as abolitionists could be of any political stripe and were simply united in the fervent opposition to slavery; many were feminists hoping their role in securing a potential black vote would result in reciprocity in securing their own suffrage (obviously this did not work), while others were backed by industrial business whose interests were to cripple the south's plantation economy (which ironically the abolition of slavery did nothing to stop, as they transferred to the more economically sound model of sharecropping).
