Man as cool as some of that scripted shit was, there were so many dumb different story mode paths for unlocking things
It was so weird how only a certain few characters could be used in story mode but the rest were ok to level up in the Red Ribbon arena. I barely did that by the end anyways because no friends of mine had powered up fighters to compete against but it was neat for the heck of it
I honestly miss that time where they were at least acknowledging DB and GT along with Z
GT is fucking dumb but playing as SS4 and stuff was always fun for the heck of it

Combat is stifled, 1 player mode sucks with all the clunky mini games, and everything else just felt like a step down

Budokai 3 is only bad because of it's retarded Dragon Rush mode that the AI spams every 15 seconds.
If it had a huge roster like Tenkaichi 3 and no Dragon Rush, it would be leagues above Xenoverse 2 which is currently the best we're going to get in terms of DB games.
