Saves me money, saves me time, and you get 90% of the experience of playing the game in most cases. Games with replay value like RPGs and grand strategy stream less well (you likely have stronger opinions about decisions the player makes).

If you only watch them you are doing it wrong. The fun is donating, kind of like buying lootboxes but it feels better because you know your money is going to someone who actually needs it.
