Sequels and new projects are decided on sales not on projected critic score

>Sequels and new projects are decided on sales not on projected critic score
Hollow Knight was funded on kickstarter and yet it's getting a sequel

get lost, kid

>bing bing wahoo and ubisoft tower clone being top game

Yikes. Tendies actually think this.

I played all 3 on PC

Thought the top game was Fortnite?

Pic unrelated

according to flies, top food is shit

Why is Reddit Knight so overrated? It's just a cookie cutter darkmetroidvaniasouls

GOW is the only good game on this list

Fortnite isn't even the top earning game of this generation.

GoW was unironically decent, apart from tank controls.

Single player was only ever in danger of going away if you're a cuck that only follows western games and think you have any understanding of games as a whole. Of course you're gonna think single player games are disappearing when all you follow are the most popular things people play. Game journalists are just trying to scare you into playing more lootbox games because they would rather do that than praise a problematic Japanese game.

more like, they're paid to shill what will bring more money to gaming companies

I guess this explains the low review scores for Breath of the Wild. This is why I love coming to Yea Forums, always get such insightful and well thought out opinions, I mean information.

First party nintendo doesn't count

Still the best designed map in metroidvania history

Also charms are a neat way of doing Powerups

>Still the best designed map in metroidvania history

you can literally fall by mistake from greenpath to fog canyon at the start of the game with close to no way of getting back up because you don't have any powerup

>imagine being that bad
it happened to me and I just made it to the top without problems - now falling into deepnest would be more problematic but still doable

I took the metro in Queen Station

Yes, same to me, and...?

BotW is not even remotely top 3, not even the best game of 2017.
Haven't played Odyssey.
Hollow Knight is quite good, Silksong could potentially be even better.

Hollow Knight wears its influences on its sleeve but that's not a bad thing. It understands how those games work, and takes advantage of their strongest qualities while mostly filtering out the flaws. It's not a perfect game (no such thing) but it's arguably the most polished Metroidvania ever made.

Getting lost in a game all about exploration is not a flaw, no idea why people think it is. Well, I do know why, but I'll be kind and not say anything more.

??????????????
They give you a metro which could easily be the first time you see one if you’re rushing through things forcing you to find another entrance in the east of greenpath allowing you to naturally discover the mantis claw.

It’s better to say you can get stuck in deepnest but that’s kinda the point of the area

literally how are they not
