The camera moves slowly because it's controlled by digital input and they didn't want you zooming past what you're trying to look at. The camera being controlled with L2/R2 made sense because the command menu needed to take priority to camera controls since the game already had a system that didn't require you to actively control the camera in order to fight enemies. It was something that people just wanted because they didn't have it and it doesn't serve much of a real use in combat in later games because you spend 90% of it locked on and unable to control the camera manually anyways.

I can't remember exactly, all I remember is that was the MoM's orders. Braig had other machinations the entire time but he was ordered to genuinely serve Xehanort.

KH1 in nearly every fight narrowed down to using Aeroga, summoning Tinker Bell, and going ham on the enemies, occasionally using Strike Raid or Ars. It was a good first attempt but the gameplay loop was simple and the boss fight designs were terribly designed for the most part, to the point that Sephiroth's AI in the original NA version of Kingdom Hearts is horrendous. Literally the only thing I can give KH1 is the story and world exploration.

You can preform the same amount of hits in less time for more damage, it's that simple. Furthermore the camera system doesn't matter in HacKnslash2, you just jump in and x to victory. You only play with the camera during exploration, once the fight starts you just spam the enemies and rely on lockons because HacKnslash2 was built about the slashing and hacking of foes. Final world blew me away as well as the dive to the hearts that was reminescent of KH1 end of the world. It's probably my favorite sequence in the series so far, aesthetically. The imagery and the atmosphere was beautiful but also uncomfortable in how haunting it was

That's the biggest thing about it though, everything else makes perfect sense besides Xehanort's old body suddenly reappearing again after it turned to sparkles like Eraqus in BBS, allowing terranort's body to be used as a vessel by past Xehanort.

Roxas and Namine knew eachother for a total of about 10 minutes, and in that time Namine was basically helping to get Roxas "killed". Their only real connection was Sora and Kairi's connection. Meanwhile Riku spent a year working together with Namine. There's a lot more to work with there.

Could be, wouldn't be sure who though, maybe brain since he was observing them, but it wouldn't make sense why he would insert a conversation between the MoM and Ava when he wasn't there, or why Luxu would do it unless it was so Xehanort could see it centuries later.

I'm gonna get some hate for this but looking at them all together i really can't choose. KH has the best final boss fights and i blame the OST for that.

This table is kind of wrong.

Sora's Heartless is the "final boss" of Re:Coded, Roxas is an extra boss that was added later. I would have them both in the image. Otherwise you need to remove Xion and all the DDD and BBS "final bosses", since the actual last boss of DDD is Armored Ventus Nightmare and the actual last boss of BBS is Red Eyes.

The Dream Eater Organization 13 boss fight was an absolute pain in the ass that chalked down to luck more than anything, and the two Ansem SOD boss fights that asked me to keep going WITHOUT a fucking save point was too much to deal with. I could get past the first one but by the second one I was too exhausted of supplies and patience to keep at it.

Knowing that Young Xehanort came afterwards didn't help.

That's my other big issue with the game, raising Dream Eaters is the most mind-numbingly annoying experience I've ever had with Kingdom Hearts, next to playing RE:Coded to completion. The clear impact of twitter in the loading screens, #hearts, riku having his own instagram and profile picture, smartphones(sorry..."gummy" phones) and usage of social media in KH3. Social media and modern technology was trump's main weapon. Kh3 was heavily impacted by trumps 2015-16 campaign I feel.

I also think #metoo had an impact on Nomura. #metoo came about in 2015. Its fairly clear in how they attempt to remove romantic, sexual, or even suggestive scenes in this game due to fear. Everyone's holding hands at most. Aqua is sexualized a little but that's it.

This is exactly what people defending XV did when it dawned on them that the game was unfinished shit. DLC isn't fixing shit. The core of this game is empty. There was no love put into this and I hope the series fucking dies as a result. Fuck Nomura.

KH2FM also added like 30 minutes of story cutscenes filling in flagrant plot holes and missing elements in the original.

For example, in the original KH2, the ONLY time we saw any Organization members interact with eachother was the short scene with Saïx and Xemnas near the end. There were also scenes with Namine, Diz and Riku missing, which meant most of the stuff that happened in the last world came completely out of nowhere.

People are quick to forget just how shit the original KH2 was.
