Whenever I make a fresh night elf character on a fresh server I always powerlevel rush to Auberdine ASAP. Seeing all those female nightelves running around in that level 8-16 leather gear is the ultimate beatoff material. I just sit there in the inn cranking out fat loads to all those sluts running by in that straight up S&M gear, building up for the inevitable one that will go afk so I can get a good camera angle on her and finish.

If my experiences on Nostalrius/Elysium were anything to go by Alliance is filled with fatass larpers, landwhales, and thirsty whiteknight orbiters who form guilds around said landwhales. Meanwhile Horde is fill with tryhard edgelords and slavs swearing in broken English any time you talk shit about Russia in world chat.

Don't even get me started on the faction ratio. That shit starts off 50/50 but after a month it ends up 30/70 Alliance/Horde. If you want to play Alliance on a PVP server you have to level ASAP because after those first few weeks you'll be drowning in a swarm of Horde kids desperately trying to farm honor while leveling... Or flat out camped by premades waiting for their guildies to come online.

It's not about """balance""", it's about player mentality. Alliance players never help each other and rarely ever even fight back when Horde tries to gank them. Horde players generally do anything they can to fuck up Alliance, even if it means suiciding in the attempt to take them down. Playing on a PvP server as Alliance is a pain in the ass when you're outdoors in PvP zones.

druid’s Probably your best bet overall.
You get the travel form and stealth for PvP dodging, and you can heal or tank while levelling without speccing for them. Though I do remember Druid tanking being an issue, but I can’t remember why exactly. The lack of a non CD resurrect was a bitch for Druid healers, I remember thg much.

depends how good you are, i've been playing since vanilla and i still struggle to make gold because i suck at economy shit, you have to be a kind of person that excels at seeing opportunities to rip off other people. much like in real life, the people that rise to the top are often using destructive tactics to do so, cornering entire markets to make millions of gold, regardless of how it affects the other players on the server. if that sounds like your thing, you can make tons of money very fast

Ironically having the healer sit on the wheel during the VanCleef fight makes it 1000% easier since VC's minions will aggro on the healer if untouched and thus sit there doing nothing. Just have the healer jump over after VC is dead and CC/kill the minions.

One of my favorite race/class combos on pvp servers is dwarf rogue, precisely for the reason that 90% of the server will be undead rogues and my stoneskin racial is an autowin in any 1v1 against undead rogues. The absolute salt I get saying shit like "WOW U ONLY PICK THAT RACE CUZ U WANT EZ PVP" is icing on the cake coming from faggots who pick undead rogues to dab on alliance warlocks and priests.

Maraudon, and Sunken Temple for sure. I like Zul'Farrak too - and that's partially due to the whole Hinterlands story-line, the quests stretching all the way to LBRS and so on.
Just a bitch that the best wand rarely drops from a side boss in Maraudon (till they add the class quests in ST).

I just know that Blizzard will keep some frustrating element of nu-wow in classic. A dungeon finder, personal loot, sharding for ages, shared AH, just something that will fuck it up

When I leveled on a server, people were surprisingly patient and helpful when it was my first time in a 15 years or so in these dungeons. It was very nice.

There were some troubling packs in dungeons though. Those quad-dragons that couldn't be slept in Sunken Temple, and spamming flash heal as priest was barely enough.
And BRD with its big groups of humanoids who were hard-hitting, aggroing and barely worked.
For a 52-55 group of mobs, either LH has them way overtuned (like bugged Lyceum) or Blizzard did a mistake.

people always got lost, and even npc groups needed CC because they hit the tank like hell.

somebody remembered how many people didn´t found the entry for the razorscale dungeons? that was pure comedy, it always took like an hour to get everyone in.

The fact that everyone was in the same boat really helped the community. Everyone remembered being the clueless guy thrown in a fuckhuge dungeon for the first time, and were happy to help. Nobody walked in and REEEEEd a time you for not having an encyclopaedic knowledge via the wiki. Well some did, but everyone hated those fags.

Orc warlock does pvp very, but Undead levels a lot easier. Between life tap, first aid, and cannibalize you have absolutely no downtime. Plus after you make someone rage by fear locking them to death you can gorge yourself on their tasty skinmeats before they release.

It's not that pulls required CC that was the issue, but they were in a few instances simply too big compared to the average gear needed on both the healer and the tank at pre-60.

Doing RFK/-D as alliance is pain. Especially RFK since most people haven't been to STV by then and can take boat to Booty Bay. Either run through Dustmallow as 30-ish, or STV as 30-ish.
And through STV you better hope Alliance "owns" the boat, or prepared to wait for the next one because you'll either be killed or MC'd off.
And the dungeon took 1-3 hours as well, but it was entertaining regardless.

On Elysium, I would kill people with eye of the beast in ashenvale in splinter tree , I eventually got banned for it though though and the GM's refused to say why.

You can keep them locked in their bodies while you do it too. The spirit release timer can last up to 5 minutes. Talking from a human mage experience getting ganked by a undead rogue in T1. That shit was terrifying. 100% mount and everything.
