Does anyone get minor autistic fits over shit like this? I've had my switch for a year but I've never undocked it because I don't want these marks but I also don't want a skin/case.
Does anyone get minor autistic fits over shit like this...
Wash your hands
What marks?
>owns a switch
>has autism
it all checks out
Same shit happens on the 3ds. Shit cheap plastic.
Notice the worn paint around the buttons.
Uh........
OP.......
....Uh........
What marks?
HOW DOES THAT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE SWITCH BEING DOCKED OR NOT?
>get a set of replacement shells from some chinese knock off website
>the plastic is actually of better quality
The joycons are the worst controllers Nintendo has ever made in terms of quality. Easily broken buttons and common issues of analog stick drag, they lose a charge in a week and a half even when they aren't turned on once during that duration, practically non existant d-pad, issues with the connector hinge snapping, issues with them not charging, issues with them dropping connection and lastly the issue in OP. Overpriced junk is all they are. Nintendo lost any semblance of quality control with the Switch.
when a train-related game becomes popular you're gonna wish I was here to explain the nuances of EMUs and DMUs
Shit thread.
By the way, has anyone's sticks started to act weird? I noticed sometimes characters seem to walk a straight line without moving the stick, and on the calibration settings it seemed they were inputs from the stick coming back very slowly to the center after being pushed to the edge.
there's a small flap under the analog stick, open it and spray WD40 or some other electronics cleaner and it should be fixed
Mine have been abused and only got stick drag at the moment. The dock click bump is starting to wear off though.
it's just a case of the shit sticks breaking down, same thing has happened to me. you could probably solve it by sending it in to Nintendo to fix it up, or maybe just pop it open yourself and see if the stick needs cleaning/readjustment
I'll just go to minecraft general
My original Joycons began to get this drifting and dead input. It's because my stepbro smashed down on the sticks. But I put an end to that with my new ones and so far no problems.
>spray WD40
>hmm need to clean out this device, let's use something that leaves residue behind
This bugs me. What also bugs me is the plastic around the pro controller analog sticks get stripped really easily. If you look, you'll notice all the white underneath where it gets rubbed off.
I've had this issue and returned my and my family's joycons really easily.
>buy joycons
>replace yours with the ones in the set
>return yours in the new box
>????
>free joycons
So long as you don't ape all over the box, just reassemble and tape everything back down.
certain retailers will ban you from returns if you abuse this too often
You asked "what marks" what was I supposed to say the only thing I have to go on to comment on your post is "what marks"? What did you mean to say?
I guess I should mention I did this across 3 different best buys. Twice in the town I live in, one in the town I work in and one visiting relatives
