For all the memes this game was responsible for, you couldnt ask for a better, more alpha father.

>His wife was only using him to bear a child to bring about Ragnarok
>She probably never loved him
>Even now, he's just following her machinations towards self-destruction, just as she planned
>Everything to turn their child into a lonely, sad hate machine programmed to kill everyone she hates
>I don't know what legitimate love is and I'm insecure about the depictions of realistic relationships
Just because she knew what was going to happen doesn't mean she didn't love him.
I thought the Blades of Chaos were lost forever
Why didnt we get the Blades of Exile instead
the boy dies in the end
She explicitly sent them on this self-destructive path. Even if she loved her family, she clearly didn't love them enough to consider going against this fate. If things progress as she set in motion, Kratos is going to die in Atreus' arms, and Atreus is going to end up just in just as much pain and misery as his dad was.
Its fate you retard. You cant change it.
You can try. Kratos is probably going to try, assuming this game gets a sequel. What he wants more than anything is to make sure his son doesn't end up like him. He'll try to defy that fate to the end. That's love.
>Kratos dropped all his stuff at the end of GoW3
>Athena actually picked them up
>she uses them in her secret boss fight
You cant "try" because you are always a puppet. Even if you can see the strings
My... Wife's.... Son......
Wrong.
I have never liked sony cinematic game bullshit and have been a staunch shitposter against games like horizen or the Order 1886. God of war 2018 was one of those games that reignited my passion for vidya. I know that it isn't particularily innovative or groundbreaking but I really loved it. The only games that have done that for me in recent times were Tribes ascend in like 2011 and Legend of grimrock 2 in 2014
It really was the best game last year
He turned Atreus into a true warrior
Kratos died the moment he stepped into the light of Alfheim. All events that occur after are just his delusions as he succumbs to death's sweet embrace.
I already have a father. I don't need a video game dad.
"BOY" "do this!" "do that!"
fuck off
but your dad is a cuck, OP specifically said alpha
Pro tip: it literally isn't in the GOW universe.
Capeshitdickeater
you play as the father you dingus
Your playing as the dad retard.
When was this said about the new verse?
>scandi woman
>capable of love
ohnonononononono
I actually thought about this during my playthrough, I would've been mad if the game used that plot.device
Kind of is.
Kratos was fated to kill his father, him killing the Fates didn't change that. In anything it ensured it happened.
Fate is another lie told by the gods.
So is he alpha or is he soi, Yea Forums? It's one or the other the indecisive fucks.
There is nothing onions about him. Its only people trying to be funny by being stupid
anyone who still says he's onions is just saying it as a meme. Everyone knows he was and still is one of the most masculine characters of all time.
Why did kratos went back in time for to save titans instead of just saving his family and redeeming himself?
What kind of sense does that make?
Despite Kratos being darker skinned before the ashes stuck to him, Atreus is truly his son. There's no other way that Atreus could have entered Spartan rage, even if he passed out.
Also Farbauti (Loki's father) doesn't exist in the GoW version of Norse lore so most likely Kratos plays that role.
Kratos is unstoppably seeing red for the entirety of God of War 2 and 3. If he ever let himself stop and think about anything other than "I am going to kill the shit out of Zeus" he could have easily made that choice. It was even the moral he learned at the end of 3, where he threw away every chance he had to do the right thing just because he refused to stay his murderboner.
