Divekick is only one hard knockdown so you got plenty of room to extend the combo, more so if you get a CH off of it.

FF's a bit finicky. If you're in the corner, you should try FF -> roll to get out instead. It's an option I don't use as much as I should.

I need to practice calling out divekicks and backdashes in general. Icy uses it a bit too much for good practice though.

Hmm, guess I'll give that a go next time. I guess it makes sense they give you time to press it again for a hit but it should be able to allow to use other things. Thanks for the new info.

Yeah. FF roll is specifically a cancel that retains your invincibility. Good for Hyde and Akatsuki fireballs midscreen too.

Oh, while I'm on the subject, you can roll cancel any of your normals if you pink A~B afterwards. Shouldn't abuse it like any other roll optiion, but it's there. Not that I ever remember to use it.

Definitely a tool I'll have to practice to get the timing of for sure. Yeah, rolling in the middle of those small hits sounds abit counter-productive except for mixing it up.

A bit tough to distinguish between the two in this case since I'm not sure of the window you have to dash after a fireball but from far away he just rolled through while mid/assault range he just fireballed me back and immediately smacked me in the face. Not sure if he was calling me out of just wanted to a get kuuga in on me first.

Is there any way to buffer A+B dash after an attack? The timing on it is giving me aids.

I personally don't use the button dash macro for combo purposes, I solely use it to run when I just need to run. I just input 66 on the d-pad

I do get pretty bad connections with hippie and Merk who are also Midwest, but if you're in Chicago my games with you are probably the best connection I've ever had to the Midwest.
