Both. He's reasonably slow but his attacks hit like a truck so he can kill some characters in 1 hit at 60% by just tilting the c-stick left or right. If you play safe then he's no problem.

Why is this thing so hard to fight as Ridley in Ultimate? It feels like it outranges me all the time. Maybe not this move specifically but god damn it's just constant aerials that is really hard to get in from.
I do kinda hate that even non-aerial based characters are constantly in the air in Ultimate. Maybe this helps make everyone more viable which is cool, but it's just crazy how everyone is just in the air at all times even if they aren't an aerial character.
