Took me three fucking months to learn the game, it's complete shit filled with people who team stack, cheat, radar hack, subtle aim botting, the goddamn Russians and hispanics. I've even played against pro teams hopped up on addy, game is unplayed trash, I would sooner go pro in shit source than go. DESU though, Cs has always been shit, just has that nostalgic factor.

the problem with cs and siege is that they promote slow cowardly way with their esports bait 5v5 1life no respawn bullshit format that frankly i dont want to deal with, cause im not playing for whatever esport bait or tryhard value that i asume esports bait games are aimed towards. i just want to shoot some gun go fast relax and have fun

but also cs has gungame and deathmatch, which sort of work but ultimately unimaginative and pretty boring

BFV and CSGO fill totally different niches, bfv is completley surface level and cs has a pretty steep learning curve but is better overall

Valve has been trying for years to get people to buy the AUG and SG, as they're the "top tier" of automatic rifles. Funny the finally managed to make it happen. Shame they can't add any new weapons without them shattering the meta or becoming completely irrelevant.

I haven't played it in a long while but I honestly love CSGO. Played it solo for a bit over 1000 hours and went from Silver elite to LEM. Honestly had a ton of fun with it and found the ranking system to be really well made.

A large portion of Yea Forums hates it because they can't get used to the game mechanically. This portion also can't differentiate between a game being bad and them personally disliking a game, so they spazz out about it constantly.

It's worth checking out since it's free, but you pretty much need to learn how the game handles recoil before you even play it. Basically your shots land off your cross hair fairly quickly, and you don't need to completely memorize spread patterns to even be good at the game.

Yeah, but as a new player it really sucks. Most of the early ranks consists of just hoping two guys don't quit and the other side is playing fairly.

Bf4 is still a banger to play

Yeah, making the game F2P seems like a total fucking nightmare. There is a 2 step verification ranked mode playlist, so maybe that's better.

The ranking system isn't based off of wins or loses completely, who you kill during the rounds and how many kills you get also dictates your ELO loss and gain. Even if you're losing most matches as long as you're playing well you'll end up ranking up.

I've never heard of gaining a rank on lose.

You can't rank up on losses, but you can rank up on ties. You can minimize your elo loss though.

Ranking up on loses would be total dogshit.
