Even with her regular skin with the default costume it still does the sin of covering up her skin too much. The dark skin has always pop the green to all her costume. 4th from the left has always been my favorite because, in my eye anyways, it has the perfect balance between cloth and skin that make her stand out.
Though the Default costume made better with changes. Someone had done a pretty good edit of it but i can't seem to find it.

My problem with MK's graphics isn't so much the faces, though some of the faces really look like shit (Cassie), it's the bodies. All the men have the same body as each other sans boss characters, all the women have the same body type too. There's no variation in proportion and it's been like this since MK9, this is a bigger problem than the faces imo. MKX was especially bad, put Liu Kang and Johnny Cage's shirtless torsos next to each other and you can't really tell the difference

I think it's a consequence of photogrammetry. Raw scans are awful, they take every little detail and set them in stone stone with a static, stark opaque sculpt and it makes things like nasal bridges and jowels far more pronounced. It takes the team a while to polish them up and translate everything to videogamey filesystems that are compatible with the way the engine handles lighting.

Her most Defining feature is her dark skin. It always pops the green on her costumes and gave a unique look to her because of a balance of skin and cloth. For me this and the other gear sets comet the sin covering her up too much. The Fabric is covering too much of her skin.

Take away the cloth and shoulder guards on her shoulders. Make the width of the fabric that runs from the front of her waist down thinner so the skin of her thigh can be shown better. keep the one on the back the width, take away the side fabric. That should balance out the costume more.
