I replayed it last month. It's a pretty fun and comfy game, my only complaint would be that some of the Story Mode matches are way too long and dense.

I played GS back in the day and it hasn't aged well, Mother 3 and even 2 are waaay better in terms of story and characters.

Porky himself has more personality than the entire GS cast.

You can't get it to work on mGBA, however there's an IPS patch for the game that maps sunlight input to the R + A button.

While I wouldn't say it's the best gba game, its definitely the one I put the most time into. The story is incoherent at best and the translation doesn't help. But the core gameplay is pretty fun, it's basically pokemon but instead of cute animals they're giant mechanical animals that you strap giant guns to.

This was seriously one of the GOAT gba games. I remember renting this multiple times from blockbuster and put so many hours into it, but sadly I never actually owned it. Why is a game about anime hamsters so good?
