I never enjoy using the wrangler. I have to put my sentry out in the open to get any use and I have to stand near the oncoming fire because otherwise I can’t see what’s a threat to the sentry.
Also it leaves you presenting yourself to spies

There is nothing wrong with the Wrangler.
The wrangler is one of those items that shows TF2 doesn’t work with 6 players on a team

They should probably reduce the damage resistance by a bit. Currently, it takes four direct hits from the Grenade Launcher to destroy a wrangled Mini-Sentry.

I'm just demonstrating how easy it is to kill a level 3 sentry with the Direct Hit.
There's really not much an engineeer can do against it except shoot it with rescue ranger shots every time he shoots your sentry and hope a teammate kills him for you. God forbid more than one person shoots the sentry or a spy suicides into it w+m1ing his sapper.

If it's being repaired the engie is standing next to it and both can be blown up at the same time with splash damage. Demo only has to use two stickies to destroy a level 3 and the engie with it.

Which doesn't matter when it has 650hp. Nothing short of a point blank heavy is going to kill it and you can just rescue ranger it away and hide in spawn after wasting the uber
