never tried stun lucking them. with my claire playthrough the flame rounds destroyed them, now that im doing a leon playthrough the shotgun seems lackluster in comparison

yea I was actually asking about the lickers because I didn't want to waste shotgun ammo killing more because the first one took like 3 shotgun blasts and a couple pistol rounds to kill..

If you really want a taste for how overpowered knifing lickers can be, go start the Forgotten Soldier dlc, and just knife the licker after the first three zombies on the bridge. The poor bastard will be lucky to get a single tongue lash out, and the ones in the main campaign fair barely better than he does. Be prepared to eat shit occasionally though if they leap to the ceiling

The shotgun's amazing for one-pumping zombies heads into mush, and that's pretty much it. Even if it doesn't feel like it, Claire has a much better arsenal than Leon. The only time he feels stronger is using the flamethrower on G2/G3
