Gonna assume that the large hill with the drawing on it north west of London gonna be the stonehenge mystery equivalent, where all the psychic and alien pokemon are.

I was thinking something similar. You could start in the lighthouse area, travel downwards to hit the gyms and stuff and then finally head up north for the final area + E4. It would be sort of like Viridian City where you can access the entrance to the E4 very early, but have to backtrack to get there by endgame.

The coast to the left of the lakes is all I can imagine. The mountain to the left of the rusty red city is probably a dead end, which is why there are two paths (one in, one out, maybe the crystal cave from the trailer). I can't see any way the bridge would be accessed unless you can get to it from the city or there's a secret train stop inside the mountain in the south. Everything else is too clearly separated from anything that resembles a landmark.

You are aware that those paths are literally rails that you can only move forward or backwards on? And that the world itself is a flat image you just walk on top of?

First pass requires no HMs and is it's own room. Second pass only requires Strength to get through (Defog and surf for optional exploration) in completely disconnected rooms from the first. Final pass requires 4-5 HM (one slave or stop being a faggot and just put HMs on your team, it's not like you need optimized move sets) moves to get through and only the beginning tunnel room is reused. All the Mt. Coronet areas may as well be separate areas. Instead GF went the extra mile to make it all connected in a single holistic feature. And then people being unable to handle even the slightest amount of complexity sent GF into the downward spiral we see today.
