Civ6 does what 4 does and improves on the few things civ5 added. Civ6 is just what civ5 should have been.

I think the problem is Bean is reading as if they told him to read it as a narrator would, when although of course it is the narrator role, the lines are better when it's like the person talking to you personally (like over a fire) like in 5. Compared to speaking impartially and dictatorially to the player instructionally or to get a point across.

Also natural wonder are absolute shite in 6 and doesn't give nearly enough as they do in 5, same with all wonders actually. No, this was to set default production priorities. Since it was broken, civs would overvalue faith and undervalue production and gold. It's why civs could pump out stupid amounts of faith units but would get squashed in actual conflict.

Uh, you can abuse rebels yourself you know. Nothing more fun that blowing up a dam and a nuclear reactor while also spawning rebels.
And you can send your spies to counterspy your neighbourhoods. I don't bother with it, rarely build NH and if I do I have a unit or two at hand to kill the rebels.

I think between civics and wonders, you can get crazy low agent action times. That and you can just have several spies doing the same thing.
