His aggression is that he always wants to be right beside you where I want to be the furthest away.

Just make sure you have meter or vorpal when you use the charged version. Otherwise you'll get punished for it. Don't actually only use the charged version, since you can get mashed out. I only use it because I wanted to cut down on abusing hien overheads in netplay.

In a decent match-up, no, he's got good ranged buttons. It's those really bad ones that utterly dismantle his being. Mind you, he's got multiple means past projectiles but there's literally nothing he can do against long-range physical attacks like Gord/Yuzuriha/Hilda. He needs to play with a patience of a saint under certain match-ups.

As happy as I am for UNIST making it to EVO main stage, it truly saddens me and depresses me seeing it being used as shitposting fodder ruining it's reputation. People don't see it as it's own game, they only see it as shitposting material towards Meleefags. People would rather shit on others for failing than be happy for the ones who make it. It's a very sad state of affairs.

I don't see that at all. Everyone likes dunking on melee players, including melee players. Having the dumb title of taking out melee doesn't seem to have hurt the game's reputation at all. The only resentment to UNIst I've seen is "wtf is an under birth" which is generally not taken too well.

The two lobby threads we had remained decent, so that's all that matters to me, though I literally started watching fighting games thanks to Melee being at EVO years ago, but it had to be booted eventually. Shitposting was bound to happen.

I mained Abel in SF4, Bang In BB, and Shadow Chie in P4AU. Not sure if there is something similar, but those are the fightan game characters ive enjoyed the most.

There's a steam version and you'll still get some people in ranked, though most people play in lobbies. Might be more active now after the announcement.
The Yea Forums lobbies are mainly PS3/PS4 with occasional PC ones.
Play the tutorial and try out the basic mission combos of the characters you're interested in.

Jewpuncher is actually a Japanese Imperialist where Imperial Japan decides the Nazis went too far when they started fielding vampires, electric Nazi Guiles and tanks with SS skulls on them, but cannot simply declare war on them so they send Akatsuki as a double agent to take them down from the inside.

There are actually no Jews for him to punch.

That is why the title translates to

Combos are pretty short, no air dashing and tons of neutral.

I wouldn't say that, they're longer on average than combos in GG. The length of the combos are my least favorite thing about the game.

Short as in they last for maybe 7-12 seconds, depends on the character and if they're spending meter and all that.

You can kind of burst here and it's not limited to once per round, it's a little complicated but it works here.

UNIST is the least anime of the anime fighters out there (gameplay-wise). There's no airblock but there ARE big fat French Bread normals so if you jump you're gonna get fucked and the GRD Vorpal makes for a very neutral/offensive-defensive tug of war playstyle that rewards smart play and allows comebacks in a non-brainless way.
There aren't even big anime combos, not even GG combos, the most you get is one (1) cancel if you Chain Shift, but you need to have won the GRD tug-of-war and CSs are always instead used as pseudobursts or are just winmore.

UNIST is basically just anime in the artstyle.
