Might as well post my notes since they'll be proven true in the next couple of days.
Nintendo Direct tentative stream date: March 28th Direct will be largely focused on Super Mario Maker 2 and the Spring Update for Super Smash Bros Ultimate, with a few other Switch announcements
Mario Maker 2 info
Single Player mode: Super Mario Maker World -Massive sprawling overworld, with different worlds represented by different Themes and Styles Single player mode: Ever Shifting Overworld -Similar to SMMW, but each stage is pulled randomly from a shortlist of fan-favourite stages based on the style and tileset surrounding it. -Each world is capped off with a Nintendo designed stage with a boss at the end. -World order and progress is reset each month. -Set to launch around the end of July, to allow time for well received user created content to be made.
New Course Themes Desert, Snow, Jungle, Night Sky New Style: Super Mario 3D World -Many new and unique objects to use -Unique control style, different to NSMB -There are a few objects that are exclusive to this style, but there will be a way to switch styles while editing that won’t cause you to lose work done in the 3D World style (Clear Pipes will look like regular pipes in other modes, for example) -All objects from the first game and DLC are available in the sequel -There is a tutorial that will allow you to unlock new objects and tools as you play. You can opt to skip this tutorial and have access to all objects and tools right away. -Including 3D World, there are well over 100 objects that can be placed -there are new customization options available, such as Custom Scroll, Course Shapes, Water Levels, and Custom Goals -Custom Scroll lets you determine a path for scrolling courses to take. Direction and speed of individual sections can be customized -Course Shape lets you change the overall area of any course, allowing for largely vertical courses -Water Levels can be changed, or set to automatically rise and fall -custom goals, such as collecting a specified number of coins or defeating a specific number of enemies, can be configured -custom goals can also be tied to certain objects, such as Keyholes or even Powerups
Course Sets -allows you to link multiple courses together into a set, to be played in succession. -Up to 16 courses can be linked, and are represented in a small overworld. -Overworld appearance can be customized, and multiple course layouts can be configured. -Secret pathways can be set up, and configured to be unlocked via a secret exit in an adjacent course. -courses linked must all be using the same style, and the overworld is styled in the same way.

That about all I have. Things might change since the Direct is still in the planning phase, so I guess we'll see.
Kevin Bailey
>Erdrick
See, now we know you're lying.
Nathan Long
>Kingdom Hearts 2,9 HD Final Remix So only the prologue to KH3 is coming to Switch? Try harder next time
David Roberts
If in the off chance this is legit, I'll just leave this post here, and say HELLO FUTURE (you) I SEE YOU'RE READING THIS POST. I just wanted to say to you to continue dabbing on those that clean up for free, and of the vile creature known as the Nigger___________. You know who I'm referring to, in the former.
Adrian Scott
>Ctrl+F animal crossing >0 results fuck you
Ayden Powell
literally only like one direct has ever leaked, and it sure as hell didn't leak via 3 autistically detailed posts at character limit
Jose Rodriguez
You know a Pokemon Direct got announced 2 hours ago right for today?
James Scott
>2 hours ago More like 15
Lincoln Kelly
>no animal crossing reveal or even a "see you at e3/the AC direct" teaser I know this is all just a fanfiction but fuck you anyway
>Mii costumes hilarious choices, if only you were telling the truth
Brayden Cox
>Still overhyping shitty directs. Bro you will be complaining that this one will be disappointing too. You don't get the big stuff untill E3. I mean how long ago had Bayonetta 3 and Metroid Prime 4 been announced?
Tyler Martinez
>Erdrick and just like that you wasted everybody's time.
Levi Williams
This all sounds far too good so it must be fake
Cooper Robinson
>Pikmin 3 remaster, available now
I'm the biggest pikmin you'll probably ever meet, and this is 100% bullshit Pikmin 3 is gonna have a physical edition, pikmin isn't and will never be a digital only game.
Fuck off
Mason Smith
But user, that would require effort and Nintendo proved with the Switch that they no longer want that
Charles Brooks
We'll get a smash direct around mid-april and super mario maker direct in early may. That's it.
No new straight up nintendo direct until E3. At the MOST, we'll get a direct mini at the end of march. But I even doubt that.
Carson Russell
all of this besides Erdrick seems rad as hell, too bad its fake
Brandon Rogers
Fuck you for making me want to believe this, these are exactly what I wanted
Nathaniel Sanchez
They don't finalize Directs until about the week before, hence why there has never been an accurate leak of a Direct's date earlier than 7 days, and why there has never been an accurate content leak earlier than 48 hours.
Daniel Perry
>Persona 5 Red is coming to Switch lol
nope!
Hudson Brooks
Draugo Time
Ryan Hill
god just... just fuck you op
fuck you for bringing up pikmin 3 and 4. Just fuck you. Go to hell. Your insincere attentionwhoring and fanfiction can hurt people you know
Aiden Torres
>final splattest: squid sisters vs. off the hook Ok, thats a good one
Henry Cooper
That's waaaaay too much content for it to possibly be realistic. I mean, unique BtT and BtP stages for every character? Get real.
Jeremiah Hill
>no updates to online lobbies to suck less >no online tourneys
I refuse to believe that there would be no updates to online play like making lobbies suck less or just giving us more options for online play like squad strike and smashdown. Single player garbage like homerun or break the targets is a waste of dev time.
Daniel Nelson
I would genuinely like this. Wouldn't be disappointed by this at all. That's how I know it's fake.
Eli Evans
Uh way more than 3 have leaked. Nearly every single direct in 2016 leaked days before.
